 කිරිබත්ගොඩ පොලිස් ස්ථානය ඉදිරිපිටදී රාජකාරියේ නිරතව සිටි පොලිස් නිලධාරීන්ට අසභ්‍ය වචනයෙන් බැන වැදී, සාපරාධී බලහත්කාරය පෑම සහ රජයේ නිලධාරීන්ගේ රාජකාරියට බාධා කිරීම සම්බන්ධයෙන් අත්අඩංගුවට ගත් පුද්ගලයෙකු ඇප මත මුදා හැරීමට මහර වැඩබලන මහේස්ත්‍රාත් දේශාල් පෝල් මහතා නියෝග කළේය.

මෙසේ ඇප මත මුදා හැරුණේ මණ්ඩාවල, කදනගොල්ල ප්‍රදේශයේ පදිංචි 56 හැවිරිදි පුද්ගලයෙකි. ඔහු රුපියල් ලක්ෂය බැගින් වූ ශරීර ඇප දෙකක් මත මුදා හැරීමට මහේස්ත්‍රාත්වරයා නියෝග කළේය.

පොලිසිය අධිකරණය හමුවේ කරුණු දක්වමින් කියා සිටියේ, පසුගිය 18 වැනිදා අලුයම 4:50ට පමණ කිරිබත්ගොඩ පොලිස් ස්ථානයේ ප්‍රධාන දොරටුව අසල ආරක්ෂක රාජකාරියේ යෙදී සිටි නිලධාරීන් වෙත පැමිණි සැකකරු, කිසිදු හේතුවක් නොමැතිව ඔවුන්ට පරුෂ වචනයෙන් බැන වැදී තර්ජනය කර ඇති බවයි.

ඉදිරිපත් වූ කරුණු සැලකිල්ලට ගත් වැඩබලන මහේස්ත්‍රාත්වරයා, සැකකරු රාගම ශික්ෂණ රෝහලේ මානසික වෛද්‍යවරයෙකු වෙත යොමු කර ඔහුගේ මානසික තත්ත්වය පිළිබඳ වාර්තාවක් අධිකරණයට ඉදිරිපත් කරන ලෙස පොලිසියට නියෝග කළේය.

නඩුව නැවත සැප්තැම්බර් මස 02 වැනිදා කැඳවීමට නියමිතය.

Court Grants Bail to Individual Charged with Obstructing Police Officials

A 56-year-old man from the Kadana Golla area was released on bail by the Acting Magistrate Deshal Paul after being charged with using abusive language towards police officers and obstructing their official duties near the Kiribathgoda Police Station.

During the court proceedings, it was revealed that the suspect was granted bail amounting to Rs. 100,000 on two separate sureties.

Police officials presented evidence stating that on the morning of the 18th, around 4:50 AM, the suspect approached officers stationed at the main entrance of the Kiribathgoda Police Station and verbally assaulted them without any provocation, threatening them with harsh language.

Taking these circumstances into account, the Acting Magistrate ordered that the suspect be referred to a psychiatrist at the Ragama Teaching Hospital for a mental health evaluation, with a report to be submitted to the court.

The case is scheduled to be taken up again on September 2.
