 කොල්ලුපිටිය පොලිසිය විසින් හිටපු රාජ්‍ය අමාත්‍ය ශාන්ත බණ්ඩාර මහතාගේ පුත්‍රයෙකු කොල්ලුපිටිය පොලිසිය විසින් අත්අඩංගුවට ගෙන තිබේ.

ඒ චීන ජාතිකයෙකු සතුව තිබූ රුපියල් කෝටි දෙකකට ආසන්න මුදලක් පැහැර ගැනීමේ සිද්ධියක් සම්බන්ධයෙන් අදාළ චීන ජාතිකයා විසින් කරන ලද පැමිණිල්ලකට අනුව සිදුකළ විමර්ශනවලින් අනතුරුවයි.

සැකකරු විසින් රුපියල් කෝටි දෙකකට ආසන්න වටිනාකමකින් යුත් මුදල් මෙලෙස කොල්ලකා ඇති බව පැමිණිලිකරැ කියා ඇත.

අත්අඩංගුවට ගත් සැකකරු අධිකරණය වෙත ඉදිරිපත් කිරීමට නියමිතව ඇත.

සිද්ධිය සම්බන්ධයෙන් කොල්ලුපිටිය පොලිසිය වැඩිදුර විමර්ශන මෙහෙයවනු ලබයි.

Former Minister's Son Arrested Over Cash Theft

The Kollupitiya Police have taken into custody the son of former State Minister Shanta Bandara in connection with a theft case involving a substantial sum of money.

The arrest follows a complaint filed by a Chinese national regarding the alleged theft of approximately two million rupees. Investigations revealed that the suspect was linked to this significant financial crime.

According to the complainant, the suspect unlawfully obtained cash valued at nearly two million rupees. The details of the incident are still unfolding as police continue to gather more evidence.

The arrested individual is expected to be presented before the court shortly. Meanwhile, Kollupitiya Police are conducting further inquiries into the matter.
