රාජ්‍ය සේවකයන් ඉදිරිපත් කළ ඉල්ලීම් 11න් 10ක්ම මාස හයක් වැනි කෙටි කාලයක් තුළ ඉටුකළ රජයක් ගෙදර යැවීමට උත්සාහ කරන්නේ නම්, ඒ සඳහා භාවිත කරන සටන් පාඨ නිවැරදි විය යුතු බව වෙළඳ, වාණිජ, ආහාර සුරක්ෂිතතාව සහ සමුපකාර සංවර්ධන අමාත්‍ය වසන්ත සමරසිංහ මහතා පවසයි.

උත්සව අවස්ථාවක් අමතමින් අමාත්‍යවරයා මේ බව සඳහන් කළේය.

පසුගිය කාලසීමාව පුරා රාජ්‍ය සේවකයන් වෙනුවෙන් රජය ඉටුකළ සේවාවන් පිළිබඳව කරුණු දක්වමින් අමාත්‍යවරයා මෙසේ පැවසීය.

"අපි බලයට පත්වෙලා මාස හයක් යන්න කලින් රාජ්‍ය සේවයේ ඉල්ලීම් 11ක් ඉටු කළා. දැන් ඉතිරි වෙලා තියෙන්නේ MN3 වැටුප් විෂමතාවය පිළිබඳ ප්‍රශ්නය විතරයි. ඒකත් විසඳන්න අපි කටයුතු කරමින් ඉන්නවා. මෙහෙම වැඩ කරන ආණ්ඩුවක් ගෙදර යවන්න උද්ඝෝෂණය කරනවා නම්, ඒ අයට කියන්න තියෙන්නේ සටන් පාඨ ටික හරියට හදාගෙන එන්න කියලයි."

රාජ්‍ය සේවකයන්ගේ මූලික වැටුප සියයට 60කින් සහ ශුද්ධ වැටුප සියයට 26කින් ඉහළ නැංවීමට රජය පියවර ගෙන ඇති බව පෙන්වා දුන් අමාත්‍යවරයා, ඒ අනුව රාජ්‍ය සේවයේ අවම වැටුප රුපියල් 57,800ක් දක්වා ඉහළ ගොස් ඇති බව සඳහන් කළේය. 2025 වසරේ අයවැය මගින් රාජ්‍ය සේවක වැටුප් වෙනුවෙන් පමණක් රුපියල් බිලියන 319ක දැවැන්ත මුදලක් වෙන් කර ඇති බව ද ඔහු අනාවරණය කළේය.

මීට අමතරව, රාජ්‍ය සේවකයන්ට ලබාදෙන නිවාස ණය මුදල රුපියල් ලක්ෂ 50 දක්වා ඉහළ නැංවීමටත්, විශ්‍රාමිකයන්ගේ වැටුප් ගැටලුවලට විසඳුම් ලබාදීමටත් රජය කටයුතු කර තිබේ. වසා දමා තිබූ රාජ්‍ය ආයතනවල සේවකයන්ට හිමිවිය යුතු රුපියල් බිලියන 3.5ක EPF සහ ETF හිඟ මුදල් ගෙවා අවසන් කිරීමට ද පියවර ගෙන ඇති බව ඔහු පැවසීය. එමෙන්ම, වැඩිහිටි තැන්පතු සඳහා හිමිවිය යුතු රුපියල් බිලියන 39ක පොලී මුදල් ද බැංකු වෙත ලබාදීමට රජය කටයුතු කර ඇත.

"දූෂිතයන්, වංචාකාරයන් සහ අවස්ථාවාදීන් එකතු වෙලා අද ආණ්ඩුවට එරෙහිව කෑගහනවා. හැබැයි රාජ්‍ය සේවකයන්ගෙන් සියයට 80ක්ම ඡන්දය දුන්නේ මේ ආණ්ඩුවට. ඒ විශ්වාසය අපි රකිනවා" යැයි ද අමාත්‍යවරයා අවධාරණය කළේය.

රාජ්‍ය සේවය ශක්තිමත් කරමින් රටේ ආර්ථිකය යථා තත්ත්වයට පත් කිරීමට රජය ගෙන යන වැඩපිළිවෙළට එරෙහිව සිදුකරන පදනම් විරහිත උද්ඝෝෂණවලින් ජනතාව නොමඟ නොයන බව ද වසන්ත සමරසිංහ මහතා වැඩිදුරටත් කියා සිටියේය.

Minister Vasantha Samarasinghe Addresses Concerns Over Government Performance and State Employee Salaries

Minister of Trade, Commerce, Food Security, and Community Development, Vasantha Samarasinghe, emphasizes that if the government aims to send state employees home while fulfilling 10 out of 11 demands within a short period of six months, the strategy used must be correct.

The minister made these remarks during an event addressing recent developments concerning services provided by the government on behalf of state employees.

"Since we came into power six months ago, we have fulfilled 11 demands related to state service. The only issue remaining pertains to the MN3 salary disparity. We are working to resolve that as well. If there are calls to send a government that operates this way home, then those protesting should be told to present a proper strategy," he stated.

Highlighting the government’s actions to increase the base salary of state employees by 60% and the net salary by 26%, the minister noted that the minimum salary in the public sector has now risen to 57,800 rupees. He also revealed that the budget for the year 2025 has allocated a substantial amount of 319 billion rupees solely for state employee salaries.

Additionally, the government has endeavored to raise the housing loan amount for state employees to 5 million rupees and address issues concerning retirees' salaries. He mentioned that steps have been taken to settle the outstanding balance of 3.5 billion rupees in EPF and ETF dues owed to employees of closed state institutions. Furthermore, the government has made efforts to allocate 39 billion rupees in interest funds for senior deposits to banks.

"Corrupt individuals, fraudsters, and opportunists are colluding to attack the government today. However, 80% of state employees voted for this government. We are committed to maintaining that trust," the minister emphasized.

Vasantha Samarasinghe further stated that the public will not be swayed by baseless protests against the government's initiatives aimed at strengthening public service and restoring the national economy.
