හිටපු අමාත්ය බැසිල් රාජපක්ෂ මහතාට එරෙහිව රතු නිවේදන නිකුත් කර ඇති බැවින්, ඔහු ඕනෑම මොහොතක අත්අඩංගුවට ගෙන මෙරටට රැගෙන ඒමට නියමිත බව නිවාස, ඉඩම්, ඉදිකිරීම් සහ රාජ්ය පහසුකම් නියෝජ්ය අමාත්ය ටී.බී. සරත් මහතා පවසයි.
ජනහමුවක් අමතමින් අදහස් දැක්වූ නියෝජ්ය අමාත්යවරයා අවධාරණය කළේ, වසර 76ක සාම්ප්රදායික පාලනයෙන් පසු බලයට පත් වූ වත්මන් රජය වසරකුත් මාස අටක් වැනි කෙටි කාලයක් තුළ ඉතා ස්ථාවර වී ඇති බවයි.
මෙම රජය සෙලවීමට කිසිදු බලවේගයකට නොහැකි බවත්, අනාගතයේදී පත්වන සෑම මන්ත්රීවරයෙකුම සහ අමාත්යවරයෙකුම වැඩකරන පන්තියේ නියෝජිතයන් විය යුතු බවත් ඔහු පැවසීය.
පසුගිය පාලන සමයන්හි වැරදි කළ ප්රභූ පන්තියේ බොහෝ පිරිසකට එරෙහිව මේ වන විට නඩු පවරා ඇති බව පෙන්වා දුන් අමාත්යවරයා, ඉදිරි වසර කිහිපය තුළ ඔවුන් බන්ධනාගාරගත වනු දැකගත හැකි වනු ඇති බවද සඳහන් කළේය.
එහිදී වැඩිදුරටත් අදහස් දැක්වූ ටී.බී. සරත් මහතා මෙසේද පැවසීය.
"මේ රටේ ධනපති පන්තියට යළි බලය ලබා දෙන්නේ නැහැ. වැරදි කරපු හැමෝම නීතිය හමුවට පැමිණවිය යුතුයි. විමල් වීරවංශ මහතාගේ බිරිඳ බන්ධනාගාරගත වුණා වගේම ඔහුටත් ඉදිරියේදී ඒ ඉරණමට මුහුණ දීමට සිදුවේවි. බැසිල් රාජපක්ෂට එරෙහිව රතු නිවේදන නිකුත් කරලා තියෙන්නේ. ඒ නිසා හෙට අනිද්දා වෙද්දී ඔහුවත් කුදලාගෙන එනවා සහතිකයි. රට පාලනය කරපු ඉහළම පන්තියේ අය බන්ධනාගාරගත වන යුගය දැන් උදා වෙලා තියෙනවා."
Red Notices Issued for Former Minister Basil Rajapaksa Amid Promises of Legal Action
The issuance of red notices against former minister Basil Rajapaksa paves the way for his potential arrest and extradition back to Sri Lanka at any moment, according to T.B. Sarath, the Deputy Minister of Housing, Lands, Construction, and State Facilities.
Addressing a public gathering, Sarath emphasized that the current government, having been in power for just over eight months since the end of 76 years of traditional governance, has remarkably stabilized in a short period.
He asserted that no force would be able to dislodge this government and stressed that all future parliamentarians and ministers must be representatives from the working class.
Highlighting the legal actions taken against numerous members of the elite class who had mismanaged previous administrations, the Deputy Minister pointed out that many of them are likely to find themselves in prison over the next few years.
Continuing his remarks, T.B. Sarath stated, "We will not allow the wealthy elite of this country to regain power. Those who have erred must face the law. Just as the wife of Wimal Weerawansa has been imprisoned, he too will face a similar fate in the future. Red notices have been issued against Basil Rajapaksa, so it is certain that he will soon be apprehended. The era of imprisoning those at the top tier of governance has now arrived."
