 ඛනිජ වැලි පිරිසැකසුම් කිරීමෙන් නිපදවන ලද ඉහළ ප්‍රමිතියෙන් යුත් ඉල්මනයිට් ඇතුළු බර ඛනිජ වැලි තොගයක් විකිණීම සඳහා ජාත්‍යන්තර තරඟකාරී ලංසු කැඳවීමට රජය පියවර ගෙන තිබේ.

පුල්මුඩේ ලංකා ඛනිජ වැලි සමාගම වෙනුවෙන් පෙනී සිටින ස්ථාවර ඉහළ මට්ටමේ ප්‍රසම්පාදන කමිටුවේ සභාපතිවරයා විසින් මෙම ජාත්‍යන්තර ලංසු කැඳවා ඇත.

ඒ අනුව, පිරිපහදු කළ ඉල්මනයිට්, A සහ B ශ්‍රේණියේ ඉල්මනයිට්, සර්කෝන් (Zircon), රූටයිල් (Rutile), hiTi ඉල්මනයිට් සහ පිරිපහදු නොකළ රූටයිල් (Crude Rutile) මෙලෙස විකිණීමට නියමිතය.

මෙම ලංසු ඉදිරිපත් කිරීම අන්තර්ජාලය ඔස්සේ සිදු කළ හැකි අතර, ගැනුම්කරුවන්ට අවශ්‍ය ප්‍රමාණයන් අනුව ඇණවුම් ලබා දීමටත්, 'ස්පොට්' පදනම මත විකුණුම් ඇණවුම් පිරිනැමීමටත් පියවර ගෙන ඇති බව වාර්තා වේ.

ඛනිජ වැලි භාවිතයෙන් අගය එකතු කළ නිෂ්පාදන සිදු කිරීම සඳහා උනන්දුවක් දක්වන සුදුසුකම් ලත් දේශීය පාර්ශවයන්ට ද මෙම ලංසු ඉදිරිපත් කිරීමට අවස්ථාව ලබා දී ඇත.

ලැබෙන සියලුම ලංසු ජූලි මස 21 වැනිදා කර්මාන්ත හා ව්‍යවසායකත්ව සංවර්ධන අමාත්‍යාංශ ශ්‍රවණාගාරයේදී ලංසු විවෘත කිරීමේ කමිටුව ඉදිරියේ විවෘත කිරීමට නියමිතව තිබේ.

Government Calls for International Bids to Sell High-Quality Mineral Sands

The Sri Lankan government has initiated steps to invite international bids for the sale of a high-quality batch of mineral sands, including ilmenite, processed from raw mineral sand. This move aims to establish a competitive trading environment in the sector.

The bidding process has been announced by the chairman of the high-level permanent production committee on behalf of Pulmudai Lanka Mineral Sands Limited.

According to the announcement, the sale will encompass refined ilmenite, ilmenite grades A and B, zircon, rutile, hiTi ilmenite, and unrefined rutile.

Reports indicate that the bidding can be conducted online, allowing buyers to place orders based on required quantities. Additionally, provisions will be made for spot sales requests.

Local entities interested in value-added products derived from mineral sands will also have the opportunity to participate in this bidding process.

All bids are set to be opened on July 21 at the Ministry of Industries and Entrepreneur Development’s auditorium.
