අද ගොවියා රජෙකු නොවන හේතුව කියයි...

 වර්තමාන ගොවියා රජෙකු නොවන්නේ ගොවියාගෙන් ලබා ගත්තු සියලූම ඵලදාවන් පිට රටින්  ආනයනය කිරීමෙන් ගොවියා හිඟන්නාගේ තත්ත්වයට පත්වී ඇති බවත් පිටරටින් ගෙන්වන අලවල සොලනීන් බැක්ටීරියාව අන්තර්ගත වීමෙන් දේශීය පාරිභෝගිකයන්ට දැඩි සෞඛ්‍ය හානි සිදුවන බවත් දේශයේ ගොවි හඬ චෝදනා කරයි .

තවද වර්තමානයේ ක්‍රියාත්මක වන්නේ අනුර කුමාර දිසානායකගේ ආණ්ඩුවක් නොවන අතර මහින්ද කුමාර වික්‍රමසිංහගේ ආණ්ඩුවක් බවත් ඔවුන් පවසයි .

දේශය ගොවි හඬ සංවිධානය මේ බව කියා සිටියේ  නුවරඑළියේදී පැවති මාධ්‍ය හමුවකදී අදහස් දක්වමිනි ,

මෙම මාධ්‍ය හමුවේදී දේශයේ ගොවි හඩ සංවිධානය නියෝජනය කරමින් එහි සභාපති තරිඳු රත්නායක , මධ්‍යම පළාත් නියෝජිත නලින්ද සේනාරත්න , නුවරඑළිය ගොවි සන්ධානයේ ලේකම් හසිත වීරසිංහ සහ නුවරඑළිය තරුණ ගොවිසභාවේ සභාපති සම්පත් ගුණරත්න යන අයවලුන් අදහස් දැක්විය ,

වැඩිදුර අදහස් දැක්වූ  ගොවි හඬ සංවිධානය , 

දිනෙන් දින පිටරට අල ලංකාවට ගෙන්වීමෙන් දේශීය අලගොබියාගේ ආර්ථිකය දරුණු ලෙස කඩා වැටෙනවා මෙන්ම පිටරට අලවල ඇති බැක්ටීරියා තත්ත්වයන් හේතුවෙන් දැඩි සෞඛ්‍ය අර්බුදවලට මුහුණ දෙන්නට දේශීය පාරිභෝගිකයාට සිදුවනවා , 

දේශී ගොවියාට අතහිත නොදී පිටරටින් අලහා ලූණු ගෙන්වනවානම් ජනාධිපති කෙනෙක් අවශ්‍ය නොවන බවත් ඒ කර්තව්‍ය පිටකුටුවේ මුදලාලි කෙනෙකුට කරන්න පුළුවන් බව ජනාධිපති කිව්වා අපිට මතකයි ,

එතකොට දැන් තඹුත්තේගම රන්බණ්ඩාගේ පුතා පිටකොටුවේ වෙළඳ නානා කෙනෙක් වෙලාද කියන සැකයක් අපිට තියෙනවා ,

ලාල් කාන්ත කියනවිදිහට ගොවියාට අවශ්‍ය කරන පහසුකම් හා ජලය ටික හැමදාමත් අපිට ලැබුණා මේ රජයේ විශේෂ වරප්‍රසාදයක් හැටියට නෙමෙයි ඒ දේවල් අපිට ලැබෙන්නේ ,

අර්ථාපල් ආනයනය කිරීම සඳහා වාර්ෂිකව මෙරටින් පිටත යන ඩොලර් මිලියන පනහක මුදල දේශීය අර්ථාපල් ගොවියා නගා සිටුවීමට වියදම් කරා නම් පිටරටින් ගෙන්වන කුණු අල වෙනුවට ප්‍රමිතියෙන් යුතු අර්තාපල් මෙරටින් නිෂ්පාදනය කිරීමේ හැකියාව පවතිනවා , 

මහජන පාරිභෝජනයට නුසුදුසු අර්තාප ලංකාව පුරාවට බෙදා හැරීමේ ක්‍රමවේදය ක්‍රියාත්මක වන කාල පරිච්ඡේදයක ඒ සඳහා වගකිවයුතු නාගරික සෞඛ්‍ය පරීක්‍ෂකවරුන් නිහඬතාවයරකින්නේ සන්තෝෂමක් අරගෙනද කියන සැකයක් අපට තිබෙනවා ,

එහෙම නැත්නම් පරිභෝජනයට නුසුදුසු අර්ථාපල් අලෙවි කරන ස්ථාන වහාම සොයා බැටලීමක් සිදුකර එම අර්ථාපල් අලෙවි කිරීමෙන් ඉවත් කිරීමට කටයුතු කරන ලෙසත් අපි ඉල්ලා සිටිනවා ,

ඒත් එක්කම වී මිල ගැන කතා කරනකොට කිලෝ එකහමාරක වී ප්‍රමාණයක් අවශ්‍ය වනවා සහල් කිලෝවක් නිෂ්පාදනය කරන්න ,

කෙසේ වෙතත් ඒ නිෂ්පාදනය කරන හාල් කිලෝ එක මිල වෙන්න ඕන රුපියල් 150ක් පමණයි උපරිම වශයෙන් ,

එසේ නමුත් සහල් කිලෝවක විකුණන මිලත් එක්ක සංසන්දනය කරලා බලන විට රුපියල් හැටක් හැත්තෑවක් ආසන්න මුදලක් අතුරුදහන් වෙනවා කාටද යන්නේ කියලා හොයාගන්න නැති වෙන්න ,

මේ ගැන අපිට අල්ලස් හා දූෂණ විමර්ශන ඒකකයට පැමිණිලි කරන්න පුළුවන් නමුත් රටේ සිතුවී ඇති සියලුම අල්ලස් හා දූෂණ නඩු විභාග කරන්න ඉතාම මන්දගාමී ආකාරයෙන් ,

අපි සිදුකරන පැමිණිල්ල විභාග කරලා ඉවර වෙද්දී ගොවියා ජීවතුන් අතර ඉදීද නැද්ද කියන සැකයක් අපිට තියෙනවා ,

වී වලට ස්ථාවර මිලක් ලබාදිය යුතුවනන අතර පිටරටින් සහල් ගේන එක වහාම නැවැත්විය යුතුයි ,

ගොවියාගේ ආර්ථිකය ශක්තිමත් කරන්න නව රජයක් වශයෙන් වැඩපිළිවෙළක් සැකසිය යුතු නමුත් වර්තමාන රජයේ සිදු කරන්නේ මහින්ද රාජපක්ෂගේ කාලයේ සිදුකරපුටිකත් රනිල් වික්‍රමසිංහගේ රජය සිදු කරපු ටිකත් ඔක්කොම එකට එකතුව කවලමක් හැටියට පවත්වාගෙන යන වැඩපිළිවෙලක් ,

ඇත්තටම මේ පාලනය හඳුන්වන්නට පුළුවන් වෙන්නේ අනුර කුමාර දිසානායකගේ පාලනයක් හැටියට නෙමෙයි මහින්ද කුමාර වික්‍රමසිංහගේ පාලනයක් හැටියට ,

රජය ලංකාවේ සියලුම ගොවියන් නියෝජනය වන පරිද්දෙන් විශේෂ ක්‍රමවේදයක් සකසා එම ක්‍රමවේදී ඔස්සේ ගොවීන්ට සහන සැලසීමට කටයුතු කළ යුතුයි ,

ගොවියන් වෙනුවෙන් සාධනීය වැඩපිළිවෙලක් සකසනවා සකසනවානම් අපිත් රජත් එක්ක එකතු වෙලා එම ක්‍රමවේදයට සහයෝගය ලබා දෙන්න සූදානම් ,

විශේෂයෙන් නුවරඑළිය අලගොවියාගෙන නුවරඑළියෙන් පත්වෙච්ච පාර්ලිමේන්තු මන්ත්‍රීවරුන් කිසිවෙකු කතා නොකරන කාල පරිච්ඡේදයක කෑගල දිස්ත්‍රික් පාර්ලිමේන්තු මන්ත්‍රීවරයෙක් වන සුචිත සන්ජය පෙරේරා මහතා කතා කිරීම අපට ආඩම්බරයක් පක්ෂ පාට භේදයකින් තොරව අපි ඒ දේ අගයකරනවා ,

නුවරඑළිය ගොවියන් හැටියට අපි අපේ ප්‍රශ්න කතා කරන්න නුවරඑළිය දිස්ත්‍රික් පාර්ලිමේන්තු මන්ත්‍රීවරුන්ගෙන් කාලය ඉල්ලුවත් අද වෙනකන් ඔවුන් අපිට කාලය ලබා දීලා නැහැ ,

මහා පරිමාණය උද්ඝෝෂණයක් ලෑස්ති කරලා ගොවියන්ගේ ගැටලු කතාකරන්න අපට වෙලාවක් ඉල්ලුවට ඔවුන් අවස්ථාව දුන්නේ රජයේ කාඩර් එකට වැඩ කරන ගොවියන් පිරිසකට ,

රජයේ කාඩරයේ ගොවිය පිරිස ගිහිල්ලා කතා කරල ගොවි ප්‍රශ්න ඔක්කම ඉවරයි කියලා මාධ්‍ය සංදර්ශන දැම්මට ඒ සංදර්ශන වලටයි අපිටයි කිසිම අදාලත්වයක් නැහැ ඒ සාකච්ඡා වලට සහභාගි වුණේ එයාලගෙම කට්ටිය හැරෙන්න අපේ සංගමය නියෝජනය කරන කිසිවෙක් නෙමෙයි කියන එක අපි පැහැදිලිවම සඳහන් කරන්නට ඕන ,

ඉදිරියේදී ගොවි ගැටලු කතා කරනවානම් සැබෑම ගොවියා වන අප සම්බන්ධ කරගෙන කතා කරන්න එවිට මේ සියලු ප්‍රශ්නවලට විසඳුම් ලබාගන්න පුළුවන් යනුවෙන් ඔවුන් වැඩිදුරටත් අදහස් දක්වමින් පැවසීය.

Farmers' Organization Criticizes Government for Importing Foreign Produce

The current farmer, who is not a king, is facing a situation where they are deprived of all the benefits they should receive as their produce is being imported from abroad. This has led to a serious health risk for local consumers due to the importation of vegetables containing bacteria, the Farmers' Voice organization claims.

They further state that the current administration is not that of Anura Kumara Dissanayake, but of Mahinda Kumara Wickremesinghe.

The Farmers' Voice organization made these remarks during a press conference held in Nuwara Eliya.

The president of the Farmers' Voice organization, Tharindu Rathnayake, along with Central Province representative Nalinda Senarathna, the secretary of the Nuwara Eliya Farmers' Association, Hasitha Weerasinghe, and the chairman of the Nuwara Eliya Youth Farmers' Association, Sampath Gunaratne, expressed their views at this media event.

They elaborated that the daily importation of foreign vegetables is severely damaging the economy of local vegetable growers, and due to bacterial conditions found in imported vegetables, local consumers are facing serious health crises.

They pointed out that if the government continues to import vegetables from abroad without supporting local farmers, there is no need for a president, as such duties can be handled by a foreign trader, reminiscent of a statement made by the president.

They raised concerns about whether Tambuttegam's Ranbandage's son has indeed become a trader in Pitakotte.

As Lal Kand saying goes, the facilities and water needed by farmers are not granted as a special privilege of this government, but are rights that farmers should have always accessed.

If the annual amount of dollars going out of the country for the importation of bananas could instead be invested into local banana growing, there is potential for producing standard bananas locally rather than importing inferior quality.

The distribution system for unsuitable bananas for public consumption in Sri Lanka seems to operate with a lack of accountability from the urban health inspectors, raising doubts about whether they are satisfied with their work.

Alternatively, we demand immediate action to conduct a search for the locations selling unsuitable bananas and to cease their sale.

Furthermore, when discussing prices of rice, a quantity of 1.5 kilograms of rice is needed to produce one kilogram, yet the maximum price for that rice should only be around 150 rupees.

However, when comparing this with the selling price of rice, there seems to be a disappearance of approximately 70-80 rupees, and no one is investigating where that discrepancy is going.

We can file complaints with the bribery and corruption investigations unit regarding this, but the pace at which all bribery and corruption cases in the country are being handled is remarkably slow.

By the time our complaints are examined, we are left questioning whether the farmers are still alive among the living.

Stable price mechanisms should be established for rice, and the importation of rice from abroad must be immediately stopped.

To strengthen the economy of farmers, a new plan should be devised by a new government. However, the current government is continuing actions reminiscent of those conducted during Mahinda Rajapaksa's time, combining it with the few things done by Ranil Wickremesinghe's administration into a continuity of operations.

This governance can be identified not as that of Anura Kumara Dissanayake, but rather as that of Mahinda Kumara Wickremesinghe.

The government must devise a special mechanism to aid farmers, representing all farmers in Sri Lanka, through which assistance can be delivered.

If a reasonable plan is drafted for farmers, we are prepared to support that mechanism alongside the government.

Particularly, it is a point of pride that Mr. Suchitha Sanjaya Perera, a parliamentarian from the Kegalle district, spoke during a time when no representatives from Nuwara Eliya have communicated on behalf of the farmers.

As farmers from Nuwara Eliya, even though we have asked for time from the parliamentary representatives of Nuwara Eliya to discuss our issues, they have yet to provide us with the opportunity.

Although we sought a time for a large-scale rally to discuss farmers' grievances, the opportunity was only granted to those farmers working within the government cadre.

The media portrayal of the government cadre farmers claiming that all farmers' issues are resolved had no relevance to us; it is important to clearly state that no representatives from our association participated in those discussions.

In the future, if there are discussions about farmers' issues, it is essential that they involve real farmers so that solutions can be found to all these problems, they further expressed.
