 කැලණිමුල්ල උතුර, අංගොඩ ප්‍රදේශයේ පදිංචි කාන්තාවක් විසින් මත්ද්‍රව්‍ය ජාවාරම් සිදුකර වත්කම් උපයාගෙන ඇති බවට ලද පැමිණිල්ලක් මත නීති විරෝධි වත්කම් විමර්ශන කොට්ඨාසය මඟින් විමර්ශනයක් ආරම්භ කර ඇත.

සිදු කරන ලද විර්මශනයේදී මත්ද්‍රව්‍ය ජාවාරමෙන් උපයාගන්නා ලද මුදලින් සැකකාරියගේ හා ඇගේ සමීපතමයෙකුගේ නමින් රුපියල් ලක්ෂ 20 ක් පමණ වටිනා ත්‍රීරෝද රථ දෙකක් ද සැකකාරියගේ පුත්‍රයාගේ නමින් රුපියල් ලක්ෂ 30 ක් පමණ වටිනා බස් රථයක් මිලදීගෙන ඇති බවට අනාවරණය වී ඇත.

2026.07.08 දින අළුත්කඩේ අංක 08 ගරු මහේස්ත්‍රාත් අධිකරණයට කරුණු වාර්තා කිරීමෙන් පසු 2026.07.14 දින දක්වා එම දේපළ සම්බන්ධයෙන් ක්‍රියාවිරහිත කිරීමේ නියෝග නිකුත් කර ඇත.

නීති විරෝධි වත්කම් විමර්ශන කොට්ඨාසය විසින් වැඩිදුර විමර්ශන සිදු කරනු ලබයි.

Investigation Launched into Drug Trafficking Allegations in Kelanimuulla

An investigation has been initiated by the Department of Special Investigation into allegations of drug trafficking by a female resident of the Angoda area in Kelanimuulla. This action follows a complaint received regarding her activities related to illegal drug trade.

Findings from the ongoing investigation have revealed that significant assets were acquired through the proceeds of drug trafficking. It was uncovered that the suspect, along with a close associate, purchased two three-wheeled vehicles worth approximately 2 million rupees, and a bus valued around 3 million rupees, registered under her son's name.

Following a report presented to the Aluthkade Magistrate's Court on July 8, 2026, a restraining order regarding the properties in question has been issued, effective until July 14, 2026.

Further investigations by the Department of Special Investigation are currently underway to delve deeper into the matter.
