‘ඇසට ඇසක්..’ යේමනයෙන් නාවික අවහිරතාවයක් වහාම ක‍්‍රියාත්මක කරයි..

 සවුදි අරාබියට එරෙහිව වහාම ක්‍රියාත්මක වන පරිදි නාවික අවහිරතාවයක් පැනවීමට යේමනය තීරණය කර තිබේ. යේමන සන්නද්ධ හමුදා ප්‍රකාශක බ්‍රිගේඩියර් ජෙනරාල් යාහ්යා සාරි නිවේදනය කළේ, "වටලෑමට වටලෑමක්" යන ප්‍රතිපත්තිය මත පදනම්ව සවුදි සතුරාට එරෙහිව මෙම මුහුදු මං අවහිර කිරීම සිදු කරන බවයි.

වසර 12කට ආසන්න කාලයක් තිස්සේ සවුදි අරාබිය විසින් යේමන වැසියන්ට එරෙහිව ගොඩබිම, මුහුද සහ ගුවන් මගින් පනවා ඇති අසාධාරණ අවහිර කිරීම්වලට සහ යේමන සම්පත් කොල්ලකෑමට එරෙහිව මෙම පියවර ගත් බව ඔහු පැවසීය. මෑතකදී සනා  ජාත්‍යන්තර ගුවන් තොටුපළට එල්ල වූ ප්‍රහාර ද මෙම තීරණයට සෘජුවම බලපා තිබේ.

ඕනෑම තත්ත්වයකට මුහුණ දීමට යේමන හමුදාව පූර්ණ සූදානමකින් පසුවන බවත්, රියාද් පාලනය විසින් සිදු කරන ඕනෑම මෝඩ ක්‍රියාවකට දැඩි සහ දරුණු ප්‍රතිප්‍රහාර එල්ල කරන බවත් ප්‍රකාශකයා අනතුරු ඇඟවීය. යේමන වැසියන්ගේ අයිතිවාසිකම් දිනා ගැනීම සහ අසාධාරණ වටලෑම අවසන් කිරීම වෙනුවෙන් ඕනෑම කැපකිරීමක් කිරීමට සූදානම් බව ද ඔහු වැඩිදුරටත් සඳහන් කළේය.

මෑතකදී ඉරානයේ පැවති අයතුල්ලා අලි කමේනි අවමංගල්‍ය උත්සවයට සහභාගී වී යේමන නියෝජිත පිරිස රැගෙන එමින් තිබූ ගුවන් යානයකට සවුදි අරාබිය බාධා කිරීමත් සමඟ දෙරට අතර නොසන්සුන්තාවය උත්සන්න විය. 

සනා ගුවන් තොටුපළට බෝම්බ හෙලීම හේතුවෙන් එම යානය හුඩෙයිඩා නගරයට ගොඩබෑමට සිදුවිය.

2015 වසරේ සිට ඇමරිකාව ඇතුළු බටහිර රටවල දේශපාලන සහ යුධ සහය ඇතිව සවුදි අරාබිය යේමනයට එරෙහිව යුද්ධ ප්‍රකාශ කර ඇති අතර, ඉන් දස දහස් ගණනක් යේමන වැසියන් මියගොස් තිබේ. ගාසා තීරයේ ඊශ්‍රායල ඝාතනවලට එරෙහිව යේමනය විසින් ඊශ්‍රායල ඉලක්ක වෙත එල්ල කරන ප්‍රහාර මැඩපැවැත්වීමට ඇමරිකාව සහ බ්‍රිතාන්‍යය ද උත්සාහ කරමින් සිටින පසුබිමක මෙම නව නාවික අවහිරතාවය ප්‍රකාශයට පත් කර ඇත.

Yemen to Enforce Naval Blockade Against Saudi Arabia Amid Ongoing Conflict

In a significant escalation of hostilities, Yemen has declared its intention to impose a naval blockade on Saudi Arabia effective immediately. Brigadier General Yahya Saree, spokesperson for the Yemeni armed forces, stated that this decision is grounded in a strategy of "surrounding the enemy to isolate them."

This move comes in response to nearly 12 years of what Yemen describes as unjust maritime, aerial, and ground blockades imposed by Saudi Arabia on its citizens, alongside the theft of Yemen’s resources. Recent attacks on the Sana'a International Airport have directly influenced this decisive action.

The Yemeni armed forces, according to the spokesperson, are fully prepared to confront any situation. He warned that any reckless actions by the Riyadh regime would provoke severe and ruthless retaliation. Furthermore, he emphasized a commitment to making any sacrifice necessary to reclaim the rights of the Yemeni people and bring an end to the unjust blockade.

Tensions have recently escalated further between the two nations following Saudi interference with a plane that was transporting a Yemeni delegation returning from a funeral ceremony for Iranian leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei.

As a result of the bombing at Sana'a Airport, the Yemeni aircraft was forced to land in the city of Hudaydah.

Since 2015, Saudi Arabia has been engaged in military operations against Yemen with the support of Western powers, including the United States. This prolonged conflict has resulted in tens of thousands of civilian deaths. The announcement of the new naval blockade comes in the context of ongoing efforts by the U.S. and Britain to curtail strikes from Yemen targeting Israeli positions amid rising tensions over the ongoing violence in Gaza.
