නාමල්ගේ නායකත්වයෙන් "විශිෂ්ඨයන්ගේ කණ්ඩායම - ඊළඟ රැල්ල"

 පාර්ලිමේන්තුව තුළ මෙන්ම ඉන් බැහැරව ද සිටින විපක්ෂයේ ක්‍රියාකාරීන් ඒකාබද්ධ කිරීමේ අරමුණින්, විපක්ෂ මන්ත්‍රීවරුන් වන නාමල් රාජපක්ෂ, රෝහිත අබේගුණවර්ධන, අනුරාධ ජයරත්න, ඩී. වී. චානක සහ චානක මඩුගොඩ යන මහත්වරුන් විසින් “A Team – Next Wave” (විශිෂ්ඨයන්ගේ  කණ්ඩායම - ඊළඟ රැල්ල)  නමින් නව දේශපාලන වේදිකාවක් පසුගිය අඟහරුවාදා නිල වශයෙන් ආරම්භ කරන ලදී.

වත්මන් රජයට පවතින අතිවිශාල බලය හේතුවෙන් පාර්ලිමේන්තුව තුළ නිසි නියෝජනයක් නොලැබෙන  දේශපාලන පක්ෂ, ස්වාධීන කණ්ඩායම් මෙන්ම පුද්ගලයන් වෙනුවෙන් ශක්තිමත් හඬක් නැඟීම මෙම නව දේශපාලන වේදිකාවේ ප්‍රධානතම අරමුණක් බව එම මන්ත්‍රීවරුන් පෙන්වා දෙති.

එමෙන්ම, ජාතික මට්ටමේ වැදගත් ගැටලුවලදී ජනතාවගේ සැබෑ හඬ බලධාරීන් වෙත රැගෙන යාම සඳහා දැනට පාර්ලිමේන්තුව නියෝජනය කරන මන්ත්‍රීවරුන් මෙන්ම පාර්ලිමේන්තු නියෝජනයක් නොමැති අනෙකුත් දේශපාලන කණ්ඩායම් සමඟ ද අත්වැල් බැඳගෙන මෙම වැඩපිළිවෙළ ඉදිරියට ගෙන යන බව ඔවුහු ප්‍රකාශ කළහ.

පුළුල් දේශපාලන සන්ධානයක් ගොඩනැඟීම වෙනුවෙන්, විවිධ විපක්ෂ කණ්ඩායම් සහ ස්වාධීන කණ්ඩායම්වල නියෝජිතයන් එකම වහලක් යටට කැඳවීම මෙම ව්‍යාපාරයේ අපේක්ෂාව බව මන්ත්‍රීවරු පවසති.

වත්මන් ආර්ථික දුෂ්කරතා, දරාගත නොහැකි බදු බර මෙන්ම ගොවියන්, ධීවරයන්, උපාධිධාරීන්, තාරුණ්‍යය සහ ශිෂ්‍ය ප්‍රජාව මුහුණ දෙන දැවෙන ගැටලුවලට සාර්ථකව මුහුණ දිය හැකි, අත්දැකීම් බහුල දේශපාලන කණ්ඩායමක අවශ්‍යතාව මේ මොහොතේ රටට තදින්ම දැනෙමින්  පවතින බව මන්ත්‍රීවරුන් වැඩිදුරටත් අවධාරණය කර සිටිති.

අවසාන වශයෙන්, මෙම වැඩපිළිවෙළේ දිගුකාලීන අරමුණ වන්නේ ශ්‍රී ලංකාවේ අනාගතය භාරගත හැකි "ඊළඟ ජාතික කණ්ඩායම" (Next National Team) ලෙස ශක්තිමත්, එක්සත් විපක්ෂ බලවේගයක් රට තුළ නිර්මාණය කිරීම බව ද ඔවුහු සඳහන් කළහ.

New Political Platform "A Team – Next Wave" Launched by Opposition Leaders

In a significant move aimed at unifying opposition forces within and outside Parliament, prominent opposition members Namal Rajapaksa, Rohitha Abeygunawardena, Anuradha Jayaratne, D.V. Chanaka, and Chanaka Madugoda officially launched a new political platform called "A Team – Next Wave" last Tuesday.

This initiative emerges in response to the overwhelming power currently held by the government, which many believe has resulted in inadequate representation in Parliament for various political parties and independent groups. The parliamentarians emphasized that a key objective of this new platform is to raise a strong voice for individuals who feel underrepresented.

They stated that the aim is also to effectively convey the genuine concerns of the public regarding significant national issues to those in power. In light of this, the initiative plans to collaborate with other political groups that lack parliamentary representation, thereby pushing forward a collective agenda.

The legislators expressed their aspiration to form an expansive political coalition that brings together representatives from diverse opposition parties and independent groups under one umbrella.

Highlighting the pressing economic difficulties, unbearable tax burdens, and the challenges faced by farmers, fishermen, graduates, youth, and the student community, they noted the urgent need for a politically experienced group capable of addressing these burning issues.

Ultimately, they articulated that the long-term goal of this initiative is to create a strong and united opposition force within the country, which they aim to develop into what they termed the "Next National Team" capable of steering Sri Lanka's future.
