නල්ලතන්නියේ සිට මස්කෙළිය දක්වා ධාවනය වූ ත්‍රීරෝද රථයක් නල්ලතන්නිය මස්කෙළිය ප්‍රධාන මාර්ගයේ මෝහිණි ඇල්ල අසළදී ප්‍රපාතයට පෙරලීමෙන් එම ත්‍රීරෝද රථයේ ගමන් ගත් දෙදෙනෙකු ජීවිතක්ෂයට පත් වී පාසල් ළමුන් තිදෙනෙකු බරපතල ලෙස තුවාල ලබා මස්කෙළිය ප්‍රාදේශීය රෝහල වෙත ඇතුලත් කල බව නල්ලතන්නි පොලිසියේ ස්ථානාධිපතිවරයා පැවසීය.

(22) දින උදෑසන මෙම අනතුර සිදු වී ඇති අතර, අධික වේගයෙන් ධාවනය වූ ත්‍රීරෝද රථය රියදුරුගේ පාලනයෙන් මිදි ප්‍රපාතයට පෙරලි මෙම අනතුර සිදු වි ඇති බවයි අනතුර පිලිබද පරික්ෂන පවත්වන නල්ලතන්නිය පොලිසියේ නිළධාරියෙකු කියා සිටියේ.

අනතුරින් මිය ගොස් ඇත්තේ ත්‍රීරෝද රථයේ රියදුරා සහ ත්‍රීරෝද රථයේ ගමන් ගත් වැඩිහිටියෙකු බවත්, ත්‍රීරෝද රථය අනතුර පත් වන අවස්ථාවේ ත්‍රීරෝද රථය තුල පස් දෙනෙකු ගමන් කර ඇති බවයි පොලිසිය කියා සිටියේ.

Tragic Accident in Nallathanniya Claims Two Lives

A devastating incident occurred on the main road between Nallathanniya and Maskeliya when a three-wheeler overturned near the Mohini Falls, resulting in the deaths of the driver and an elderly passenger. The accident, which took place earlier today, also left three school children severely injured, necessitating their admission to the Maskeliya District Hospital.

The vehicle was reported to be traveling at high speed, and witnesses indicated that the driver lost control before the tragic rollover. Local police officials confirmed that an investigation has been launched to ascertain the circumstances surrounding the accident.

At the time of the accident, there were five individuals aboard the three-wheeler, highlighting the severity of the situation. Eyewitness accounts and initial police reports indicate a stark need for improved road safety measures in the area.
