 යාල ජාතික උද්‍යානය තුළ පිහිටි බුතව බංගලාව වෙත දේශීය සංචාරකයින් පිරිසක් රැගෙන යමින් තිබූ සුඛෝපභෝගී ඩිෆෙන්ඩර් වර්ගයේ මෝටර් රථයක් (15) පෙරළී අනතුරකට ලක්ව ඇති බව යාල වනෝද්‍යාන කාර්යාලය පවසයි.

මෙම අනතුරින් රථයේ ගමන් ගත් කිසිවෙකුටත් තුවාල සිදුව නොමැති වුවද, රථයට දැඩි හානි සිදුව ඇති බව වාර්තා වේ. උද්‍යානය තුළ පිහිටි උරාණිය ප්‍රදේශයේදී මෙම අනතුර සිදුව ඇත්තේ රථය බුතව බංගලාව දෙසට ගමන් කරමින් සිටියදීය. මෙම ඩිෆෙන්ඩර් රථය මෙරට ප්‍රභූවරයෙකුට අයත් එකක් බවද අනාවරණය වී තිබේ.

අනතුර දුටු අනෙකුත් ජීප් රථ රියදුරන් පවසන්නේ, අධික වේගය පාලනය කර ගැනීමට නොහැකි වීම නිසා මෙම පෙරළීම සිදුව ඇති බවයි.

අනතුරට පත් රථය එම ස්ථානයෙන් ඉවත් කර ගැනීමට අනෙකුත් රියදුරන් සහ ස්වේච්ඡා මාර්ගෝපදේශකවරුන් සහාය වී ඇත.

Luxury Vehicle Rolls Over in Yala National Park, No Injuries Reported

A luxury Defender vehicle carrying a group of local tourists met with an accident inside the Yala National Park, resulting in the vehicle rolling over. The incident occurred while the vehicle was en route to the Butawa Bungalow, according to the park officials.

Fortunately, no injuries were reported among the passengers, although significant damage was inflicted on the vehicle. The accident took place in the Uraniya area of the park as the Defender was heading towards the bungalow. It has been revealed that the vehicle belongs to a prominent individual.

Other drivers of jeep vehicles who witnessed the accident stated that the rollover was likely caused by an inability to control excessive speed.

Assistance was provided by fellow drivers and volunteer guides to remove the overturned vehicle from the site.

There has been a rise in videos circulating on social media, showing reckless driving within the Yala National Park, including speeding and the disturbance of wildlife.

In response to inquiries, the Yala National Park warden emphasized that there is stringent monitoring of individuals and vehicles engaged in illegal driving practices, emphasizing that legal action will be taken against offenders.
