ඉරානය විසින් දියත් කරන ලද "Operation True Promise 4" මෙහෙයුම මගින් පර්සියානු ගල්ෆ් කලාපය පුරා විහිදී ඇති ඇමරිකානු හමුදා යටිතල ව්‍යුහයේ කොඳු නාරටිය බිඳ දමා ඇති බව නවතම චන්ද්‍රිකා ඡායාරූප විශ්ලේෂණය කරමින් නිකුත් කළ වාර්තා පවසයි.

වසර ගණනාවක් තිස්සේ ඇමරිකාව විසින් ගොඩනගන ලද මෙම ආරක්ෂක ජාලය, ඉරානයේ නිරවද්‍ය මිසයිල සහ ඩ්‍රෝන ප්‍රහාර හමුවේ පැය කිහිපයක් ඇතුළත දැඩි පසුබෑමකට ලක්ව ඇති බව එම වාර්තා පෙන්වා දෙයි.

මෙම මෙහෙයුමේදී කුවේට්, බහරේන්, කටාර්, එක්සත් අරාබි එමීර් රාජ්‍යය සහ ජෝර්දානය යන රටවල පිහිටි ඇමරිකානු හමුදා මධ්‍යස්ථාන ඉලක්ක කර ප්‍රහාර එල්ල වී තිබේ. විශේෂයෙන්ම කුවේටයේ පිහිටි 'කෑම්ප් බියුරින්' සහ 'අලි අල් සලෙම්' ගුවන් හමුදා කඳවුරුවල සැපයුම් මධ්‍යස්ථාන, විදුලි උපපොළවල් සහ ගබඩා සංකීර්ණවලට දැවැන්ත හානි සිදුව ඇති බව චන්ද්‍රිකා ඡායාරූප මගින් තහවුරු වේ.

බහරේනයේ පිහිටි ඇමරිකානු පස්වන නාවික බලඇණි මූලස්ථානය (US Fifth Fleet) ද සෘජු ප්‍රහාරයන්ට ලක්ව ඇති අතර, එහි පරිපාලන ගොඩනැගිලි සහ සන්නිවේදන පද්ධති ඉලක්ක කර ගනිමින් මෙම ප්‍රහාර එල්ල කර ඇත.

මෙම ප්‍රහාර මාලාවේ වඩාත්ම කැපී පෙනෙන ලක්ෂණය වන්නේ ඇමරිකානු ගුවන් ආරක්ෂක පද්ධතියේ 'ඇස්' ලෙස සැලකෙන රේඩාර් පද්ධති ඉලක්ක කිරීමයි. කටාර්හි පිහිටි ඩොලර් බිලියන 1.1ක් වටිනා AN/FPS-132 වර්ගයේ පූර්ව අනතුරු ඇඟවීමේ රේඩාර් පද්ධතිය ඉරාන ඩ්‍රෝන ප්‍රහාර හමුවේ සම්පූර්ණයෙන්ම විනාශ වී ඇති බව වාර්තා වේ.

Iran's "Operation True Promise 4" Disrupts US Military Infrastructure in Persian Gulf

A recent analysis of satellite imagery reveals that Iran's "Operation True Promise 4" has successfully dismantled portions of the American military infrastructure across the Persian Gulf region. This operation marks a significant escalation in Iran's military capabilities, targeting defenses developed by the US over several years.

Reports indicate that this extensive defensive network, which has been under construction by the United States, suffered severe setbacks within mere hours under the assault of Iran's precision missiles and drone strikes.

The offensive specifically targeted American military bases located in Kuwait, Bahrain, Qatar, the United Arab Emirates, and Jordan, with substantial damage reported at logistical hubs, electrical installations, and storage complexes at air force camps in Kuwait, particularly at 'Camp Buehring' and 'Ali Al Salem'.

The US Fifth Fleet base in Bahrain was also directly attacked, with strikes aimed at its administrative buildings and communication systems, underscoring a notable vulnerability in American naval defense operations.

One of the most striking elements of this offensive was the targeting of radar systems regarded as "eyes" of the American air defense network. Reports suggest that the AN/FPS-132 early warning radar system, valued at $1.1 billion and located in Qatar, was completely destroyed in the Iranian drone assaults.

Additionally, radar systems located in the UAE and Jordan, including the Terminal High Altitude Area Defense (THAAD), were also identified as targets, thereby degrading the American air defense network within the region.

This operation has validated claims that Iranian military technology has advanced beyond expectations previously held by American military analysts. Iran succeeded in circumventing protective layers by deploying a large number of missiles and drones simultaneously without triggering responses from US defense systems.

Another critical aspect of this assault is its economic implication. Iran deployed drones and missiles with relatively low production costs, forcing the US to expend millions of dollars on interceptor missiles to counteract this threat. Analysts warn that this could lead to a rapid depletion of American resources in a prolonged conflict.
