සමස්ත ලංකා සමාජ සේවා නිලධාරීන්ගේ සංගමයේ මහ සභා රැස්වීම නාවල, කොස්වත්ත පිහිටි සණස ශ්‍රවණාගාරයේදී පැවැත්විණි. 

ග්‍රාමීය සංවර්ධන, සමාජ ආරක්ෂණ හා ප්‍රජා සවිබලගැන්වීම් අමාත්‍ය ආචාර්ය උපාලි පන්නිල සහ පාර්ලිමේන්තු මන්ත්‍රී චන්දන සූරියආරච්චි යන මහත්වරුන් එම අවස්ථාවට ආරාධිතයන් ලෙස සහභාගි වූහ.

එහිදී අදහස් දක්වමින් අමාත්‍ය ආචාර්ය උපාලි පන්නිල මහතා සඳහන් කළේ, දශක හතකට වැඩි ඉතිහාසයක් ඇති සමාජ සේවා නිලධාරී සේවය, සමාජ පරිවර්තනයක් වෙනුවෙන් සුවිශේෂී සේවාවක් ඉටු කර ඇති බවයි. එමෙන්ම, වත්මන් ජාතික ජන බලවේග රජය ජනතාවාදී පාලනයක් බැවින්, ජනතාවට සේවය කිරීමේදී සමාජ සේවා නිලධාරීන්ගේ දායකත්වය ඉතා වැදගත් බවද ඒ මහතා පැවසීය.

පාර්ලිමේන්තු මන්ත්‍රී චන්දන සූරියආරච්චි මහතා පෙන්වා දුන්නේ, රාජ්‍ය සේවයේ ව්‍යුහාත්මක වෙනසක් උදෙසා ජාතික ජන බලවේග රජය කටයුතු කරමින් සිටින බවයි. 2026 අයවැය යෝජනා අතරින් රාජ්‍ය සේවයට අදාළ සියලු යෝජනා මේ වන විට රජය ක්‍රියාත්මක කර අවසන් බවත්, රාජ්‍ය සේවක වැටුප් ගැටලු විසඳීම වෙනුවෙන් විශේෂ ජනාධිපති කොමිසමක් පත් කර ඇති බවත් ඒ මහතා වැඩිදුරටත් සඳහන් කළේය.

සමස්ත ලංකා සමාජ සේවා නිලධාරී සංගමයේ සමාජික සාමාජිකවන්ගේ යෝජනා ඇතුත් යෝජනාවලියක් අමාත්‍යතුමා වෙත එහිදී ඉදිරිපත් කළා.

මෙම අවස්ථාවට සමස්ත ලංකා සමාජ සේවා නිලධාරීන්ගේ සංගමයේ නිලධාරී මණ්ඩලය සහ සාමාජික සාමාජිකාවන් එක්ව සිටියහ.

Major Meeting of the All-Sri Lanka Social Workers' Association Held in Nawala

The major general meeting of the All-Sri Lanka Social Workers' Association took place at the Sanasa Auditorium located in Koswatta, Nawala.

Minister of Rural Development, Social Security, and Community Empowerment, Dr. Upali Paninna, along with Parliament member Chandan Suriyarachchi, attended the event as invitees.

During the meeting, Minister Dr. Upali Paninna highlighted that the social service officer service, with over seven decades of history, has been performing a unique role for social transformation. He also emphasized that under the current National People's Power government, which upholds democratic governance, the contribution of social service officers in serving the people is critically important.

Furthermore, the Minister pointed out that the public service, which had been dismantled during previous administrations, has been revitalized under the present government.

Parliament member Chandan Suriyarachchi noted that the National People's Power government is actively working towards a structural transformation of the public service. He mentioned that all proposals related to the public service from the 2026 budget have now been implemented by the government, and a special presidential commission has been established to resolve issues regarding public servant salaries.

At the event, a proposal document containing suggestions from the members of the All-Sri Lanka Social Workers' Association was submitted to the minister.

The officials and members of the All-Sri Lanka Social Workers' Association were present together at this occasion.
