භාවිත නොකලත් නඩත්තුවට වියදම්.. ජනාධිපති මන්දිර ආයෝජකකයන්ට බදු දෙයි..

 ජනාධිපතිවරයාගේ නිල කටයුතු හා පෞද්ගලික විවේක අවස්ථාවන්හිදී ප්‍රයෝජනයට ගැනීමේ අරමුණින් ශ්‍රී ලංකාවේ විවිධ ප්‍රදේශවල ජනාධිපති මන්දිර කිහිපයක් පවත්වා ගෙන යනු ලැබුවද එම මන්දිර වර්තමාන ජනාධිපතිවරයාගේ කටයුතු සඳහා භාවිත කරනු නොලබයි. 

ඉතා ඉහළ වාස්තු විද්‍යාත්මක හා ආර්ථික වටිනාකම් සහිත එම මන්දිර අංග සම්පුර්ණ පහසුකම් වලින් සහ ආකර්ශනීය ආකාරයේ බිම් සැකසුම් වලින් සමන්විත වේ. 

දැනට ජනාධිපති ලේකම් කාර්යාලය යටතේ පාලනය වන එකී මන්දිර නඩත්තු කිරීම, ආරක්ෂාව සැපයීම හා අනෙකුත් වියදම් සඳහා රාජ්‍ය මුදල් සැලකිය යුතු ලෙස වැය කළ යුතුව ඇත. 

එබැවින්, රජය සතු බංගලා, නිවාස සහ ජනාධිපති මන්දිර ආර්ථික වශයෙන් ඵලදායීව උපයෝජනය කිරීම පිණිස යෝග්‍ය ක්‍රම වේදයක් හඳුන්වා දීම සඳහා පත් කර ඇති කමිටුවේ නිර්දේශ සැලකිල්ලට ගනිමින්, බෙන්තොට, කතරගම, මහිංයගනය, ඇඹිලිපිටිය සහ අනුරාධපුර යන ප්‍රදේශවල පිහිටා ඇති ජනාධිපති මන්දිරයන් සංචාරක ක්ෂේත්‍රයේ ආයෝජන ව්‍යාපෘති ක්‍රියාත්මක කිරීම සඳහා යෝජනා කැඳවා සුදුසු ආයෝජකයන් වෙත දීර්ඝ කාලීන බදු පදනම මත බැහැර කිරීම පිණිස ජනාධිපතිතුමා ඉදිරිපත් කළ යෝජනාව අමාත්‍ය මණ්ඩලය විසින් අනුමත කරන ලදී.

Government Approves Investment Strategies for Presidential Residences

The Sri Lankan government has decided to actively manage several presidential residences located in various regions. Although these properties are equipped with high architectural and economic value, they are currently not being utilized for activities by the sitting President.

These residences feature complete facilities and captivating landscaping, showcasing their potential for more than just official purposes.

Under the jurisdiction of the Presidential Secretariat, significant state funds are allocated for the maintenance, security, and other operational expenses associated with these residences.

In light of this, a committee has been appointed to introduce a viable strategy for economically beneficial use of these properties. This includes proposals to attract suitable investors for tourism projects at the presidential residences in Bentota, Kataragama, Mahiyanganaya, Ambilipitiya, and Anuradhapura. The investment strategy focuses on long-term lease agreements, which have already received the Ministerial Cabinet's approval as per the President's recommendations.
