ජන හමුවකට එක්වෙමින් මන්ත්‍රීවරයා සඳහන් කළේ, පසුගිය කාලසීමාව පුරාම බොරු සාක්ෂි නිර්මාණය කරමින් සහ විවිධ බලපෑම් එල්ල කරමින් රාජපක්ෂවරුන් දඩයම් කිරීමට උත්සාහ කළ බවයි.

"අද රටේ කවුරුහරි දිවි අහිමි කරගත්තත් ඒක රාජපක්ෂලාගේ පිටින් යවන්නයි ආණ්ඩුව බලන්නේ. හැබැයි මහින්ද රාජපක්ෂ මහතා අවසන් කරපු යුද්ධය, එතුමා හදපු අධිවේගී මාර්ග, පෝර්ට් සිටිය වගේ දැවැන්ත ව්‍යාපෘති ගැන කතා කරද්දී මේ ආණ්ඩුව කියන්නේ ඒවට අයිතිකාරයෝ ගොඩක් ඉන්නවා කියලා. හොඳ දේවල්වලට අයිතිකාරයෝ ගොඩයි, හැබැයි හැම නරක දේකටම රාජපක්ෂලා වැරදියි," යැයි මන්ත්‍රීවරයා පෙන්වා දුන්නේය.

මහ බැංකුවේ සහ මුදල් අමාත්‍යාංශයේ ගිණුම්වලට හැකර්වරුන් ඇතුළු වී මුදල් සොරකම් කිරීමේ සිද්ධීන් පවා තමන් සමඟ සම්බන්ධ කිරීමට ඇතැම් පිරිස් උත්සාහ කරන බවත්, එය හාස්‍යයට කරුණක් බවත් ඔහු වැඩිදුරටත් පැවසීය.

රටේ වත්මන් ආර්ථික තත්ත්වය පිළිබඳව අදහස් දක්වමින් නාමල් රාජපක්ෂ මහතා කියා සිටියේ, ජනතාව මත දැඩි බදු බරක් පටවමින් ජාත්‍යන්තර මූල්‍ය අරමුදල සතුටු කිරීමට ආණ්ඩුව කටයුතු කරන බවයි. "එක් පැත්තකින් පත්තරවල කියනවා ජනාධිපතිවරයාගේ වැඩපිළිවෙළ ගැන 75%ක් සතුටුයි කියලා. හැබැයි ඒ පත්තරේම යට කෑල්ලේ තියෙනවා රටෙන් භාගයක් බඩගින්නේ කියලා. මේක කොහොමද ගැලපෙන්නේ?" යැයි ඔහු ප්‍රශ්න කළේය.

එමෙන්ම, යුද්ධය ජයග්‍රහණය කිරීමට කැපවූ රණවිරුවන් සහ බුද්ධි අංශ නිලධාරීන් සිරගත කරමින් ආණ්ඩුව දේශපාලන පළිගැනීම් සිදුකරන බවට ද මන්ත්‍රීවරයා චෝදනා කළේය. පාස්කු ප්‍රහාරය සම්බන්ධ ලිපිගොනු සඟවාගෙන සිටින නිලධාරීන් අද ආණ්ඩුවේ ඉහළ තනතුරුවල වැජඹෙන බවත්, සැබෑ වගකිවයුත්තන් සොයනු වෙනුවට දේශපාලන නාට්‍ය රඟදක්වන බවත් ඔහු වැඩිදුරටත් අවධාරණය කළේය.

Namala Rajapaksa Criticizes Current Government Over Handling of Rajapaksa Legacy

In a recent public meeting, Namal Rajapaksa, a parliamentarian from the Sri Lanka Podujana Peramuna party, criticized the ruling government for blaming the Rajapaksa family for every unfortunate incident in the country. He asserted that while they are eager to strip away the recognition of significant development projects carried out during the Rajapaksa administration, they simultaneously attempt to hold the family accountable for various shortcomings.

Rajapaksa emphasized that attempts to undermine the family's reputation have involved creating false evidence and exerting undue pressure over the years. He pointedly remarked, "While the government seems intent on placing the blame on the Rajapaksas for any loss of life today, they are quick to credit former President Mahinda Rajapaksa for ending the war, along with the development of major projects like highways and port cities." He noted that while ownership of successful projects is often claimed by others, the Rajapaksa family is unjustly blamed for negative outcomes.

Furthermore, he addressed concerning allegations that certain groups are attempting to associate him with incidents of hackers breaching accounts in the Central Bank and the Ministry of Finance to steal funds, labeling such claims as laughable exaggerations.

Discussing the current economic situation, Namal Rajapaksa argued that the government is imposing heavy tax burdens on the public to appease international financial institutions. He questioned the credibility of media reports stating that 75% of the population is satisfied with the President's policies, pointing out that underneath those claims lies the reality of many struggling citizens. "How do those two narratives reconcile?" he questioned.

Rajapaksa also accused the government of engaging in political vendettas against war heroes and intelligence officers who played crucial roles in securing victory in the civil war. He alleged that officials who are covering up evidence related to the 2019 Easter attacks are now occupying high-ranking positions within the government, highlighting a tendency to prioritize political theatrics over accountability.
