ඒ මහතා ගමන් ගත් මෝටර් රථය බදුල්ල - මහියංගන ප්‍රධාන මාර්ගයේ 17 කණුව ප්‍රදේශයේ තිබී සොයාගෙන ඇත.

මෝටර් රථය හමුවූ ස්ථානය වන අලි බහුලව ගැවසෙන කලාපයක් වන අතර, අතුරුදන් වූ වෛද්‍යවරයා සෙවීම සඳහා මහියංගන පොලිසියේ නිලධාරීන්, වනජීවී නිලධාරීන් සහ යුද හමුදා නිලධාරීන් එක්ව විශේෂ සෝදිසි මෙහෙයුමක් ආරම්භ කර තිබේ.

සිද්ධිය සම්බන්ධයෙන් මහියංගන පොලිසිය වැඩිදුර විමර්ශන පවත්වයි.

Search Underway for Missing Doctor in Badulla

Concerns are rising as a specialist anaesthetist employed at the Badulla Teaching Hospital has reportedly gone missing, with his vehicle discovered in an area known for its abundant elephant population.

The individual in question, Prabath Dayarathna, a married man residing in the Mahanuwara region, has not been seen for an extended period, according to police sources.

His car was located on the main road connecting Badulla and Mahiyangana, specifically in the vicinity of the 17th mile post. This location is part of a lush habitat frequented by elephants.

In response to the unsettling situation, a coordinated search operation has been initiated, involving officers from the Mahiyangana Police, wildlife officials, and personnel from the military.

The Mahiyangana Police have stated that further investigations into the circumstances of the disappearance are ongoing.
