අනතුරෙන් බරපතළ තත්ත්වයේ පසු වූ ඇය ගාල්ල කරාපිටිය ශික්ෂණ රෝහලට ඇතුළත් කර ප්රතිකාර ලබමින් සිටියදී අද (19) උදෑසන මියගොස් ඇත.
ඇයගේ දේහය අවසන් කටයුතු සඳහා තණමල්විල පිහිටි ඔවුන්ගේ නිවස වෙත රැගෙන යාමට නියමිත බව පවුලේ ආරංචි මාර්ග සඳහන් කරයි.
Tragic Accident Claims Life of Former Minister's Wife
In a heartbreaking incident, the wife of former minister Jagath Pushpakumara has succumbed to injuries sustained in an accident.
Deshani Gunaratne, aged 55, reportedly fell from the second floor of a newly constructed building, leading to the tragic turn of events.
The mother of two was taken to the Karapitiya Teaching Hospital for treatment in critical condition following the fall. Unfortunately, she passed away early this morning, on the 19th.
Family sources indicate that her remains are expected to be transported to their residence inThanamalwila for final rites.
