පොලිස් ලොක්කෙකුට මරණ තර්ජන..

 

අලුත්ගම පොලිස් ස්ථානාධිපතිට දුරකථනය ඔස්සේ මරණ තර්ජන එල්ල වී ඇති බව අලුත්ගම ප්‍රදේශය භාර සහකාර පොලිස් අධිකාරී තහවුරු කරයි.

පසුගිය 31 වැනිදා රාත්‍රියේ ස්ථානාධිපතිවරයා සිය නිල නිවසේ රැඳී සිටියදී ඔහුගේ රාජකාරි ජංගම දුරකථනයට අමුත්තෙකුගෙන් ඇමතුමක් ලැබී ඇත.

එහිදී අදාළ පුද්ගලයා පොලිසිය භාරයේ පවතින තම රියදුරු බලපත්‍රය නැවත ලබා දෙන ලෙස ඉල්ලා තිබේ. ඒ පිළිබඳව ස්ථානාධිපතිවරයා වැඩිදුර තොරතුරු විමසීමේදී ඔහු ඇමතුම විසන්ධි කර ඇති අතර, පසුව නැවතත් ඇමතුමක් ලබාගෙන ස්ථානාධිපතිවරයාට අසභ්‍ය වචනයෙන් බැන වැදී මරණ තර්ජන එල්ල කර ඇති බව වාර්තා වේ.

මෙම සිදුවීම සම්බන්ධයෙන් ස්ථානාධිපතිවරයා විසින් එදිනම රාත්‍රියේ රාජකාරියේ නියුතු සැරයන්වරයා දැනුවත් කර, දෛනික තොරතුරු සටහන් පොතේ සටහනක් තබා උසස් පොලිස් නිලධාරීන් ද දැනුවත් කිරීමට පියවර ගෙන ඇත.

ලැබී ඇති උපදෙස් මත, අදාළ දුරකථන අංකය ඔස්සේ විමර්ශන ආරම්භ කර ඇති අතර, දුරකථන විශ්ලේෂණ වාර්තාවක් ලබාගෙන සැකකරු හඳුනාගෙන අත්අඩංගුවට ගැනීමට කටයුතු කරන බව සහකාර පොලිස් අධිකාරී වැඩිදුරටත් සඳහන් කළේය.

Death Threats Target Police Chief in Athugama

The police chief of Athugama has reported receiving death threats via telephone, as confirmed by the area's assistant police commissioner.

On the night of the 31st, while at his official residence, the chief received a call from an unknown individual on his work mobile phone. During the conversation, the caller demanded the return of his driver's license, which is currently held by the police. When the chief sought further clarification on the matter, he ended the call. However, the caller later contacted him again, hurling crude language and issuing death threats.

Following the alarming incident, the police chief promptly informed the officer on duty that night and recorded the details in the daily logbook to alert senior police officials.

Acting on the instructions received, an investigation has been initiated regarding the telephone number used for the threats. The assistant police commissioner confirmed that a phone analysis report will be generated, and efforts are underway to identify and apprehend the suspect.
