මොවුන් දෙදෙනා වැලිගම, ගුරුබැවිල ප්‍රදේශයේ සංචාරක හෝටලයක නවාතැන් ගෙන සිටි පිරිසක් බව විමර්ශනවලදී අනාවරණය වී ඇත.

මෙම විදේශිකයන් දෙදෙනා සියදිවි නසාගෙන ඇති බවට මූලික විමර්ශනවලදී සැක කරන බව උසස් පොලිස් නිලධාරියෙකු සඳහන් කළේය.

Two Foreign Nationals Found Dead in Matara

In a shocking discovery, the bodies of two foreign nationals were found hanging from a coconut tree in a temple area of Thihagoda, Matara. Local police reported the grim find, which has left the community in disbelief.

Authorities have identified the deceased as a 57-year-old French citizen and a 52-year-old Scottish national. Initial investigations suggest that both individuals were part of a group staying at a nearby tourist hotel in the Welligama, Gurubebila region.

Preliminary investigations indicate a strong suspicion of suicide, though the reasons behind their tragic decision have yet to be revealed, as stated by a senior police officer involved in the case.

The bodies are scheduled for postmortem examinations to determine the exact cause of death. Under the guidance of Senior Police Officer Wasantha Kumara, a team from Thihagoda police is conducting further inquiries into the incident.
