නුවරඑලිය මහ නගර සභාව සහ කොළඹ පෞද්ගලික සංගමයක් සමග එක් මෙම තරගාවලිය (16) (17) දින තුල නානුඔය බ්ලැක්ෆූල් පාලම අසළින් ආරම්භ කර කදු බෑවුම් සහ වංගු සහිත තේ වතු හරහා මාගස්තොට හරහා කාලය මනින තරගයක් (TIMING RACE) වශයෙන් පැවැත්වේ.

Two Motorcyclists Severely Injured in Race Accident in Nuwara Eliya
In a harrowing incident during a competitive race, two motorcyclists sustained serious injuries and were rushed to the Nuwara Eliya District General Hospital for treatment.
The race, organized by the Nuwara Eliya Municipal Council in collaboration with a private association from Colombo, commenced near the Nanu Oya Blackwood Bridge. It aimed to challenge competitors through a route adorned with steep hills and tea plantations, a concept known as the Timing Race.
Numerous competitors participated in the event held on the designated day. Witnesses reported that the accident occurred as the two motorcycles lost control and veered off the road, crashing into the tea fields. This mishap was exacerbated by the adverse weather conditions prevailing in the Nuwara Eliya area.
