සැකකරු සිය මවගෙන් මත්ද්‍රව්‍ය මිලදී ගැනීමට මුදල් ඉල්ලා ඇති අතර, ඇය සතුව මුදල් නොමැති බව පැවසීමත් සමඟ දෙදෙනා අතර දැඩි බහින්බස් වීමක් සිදුව ඇත.

එම අවස්ථාවේදී ඇති වූ කෝපය පාලනය කරගත නොහැකි වූ සැකකරු, ලෑලිවලින් තැනූ සිය නිවසට ගිනි තබා ප්‍රදේශයෙන් පලාගොස් තිබේ.

Son Sets Family Home Ablaze After Argument Over Drug Money

A disturbing incident has come to light in the Pomunugama area, where a young man reportedly set his family home on fire following a heated argument with his mother over money for drug use. After the confrontation, both mother and son fled the scene.

Authorities indicate that the young man, who resides in the Uppuwathakeya and Pubudugama locality, has been heavily addicted to heroin. The conflict escalated when the son requested money from his mother to purchase drugs, but she informed him that she did not have any funds available.

This refusal sparked a violent dispute between the two, during which the young man lost control of his anger. In a fit of rage, he ignited the dwelling made from timber and subsequently escaped the area.

Officials confirmed that this fire completely destroyed the house and all furnishings within it. The Pomunugama police have launched an investigation into the incident and have initiated a special operation to capture the fleeing suspect.
