පොලිසිය කල මගුලක් නෑ..ශිරාන් බාසික්මයි ටිකට් දාගෙන ලංකාවට ආවෙ..

 ජාත්‍යන්තර මත්ද්‍රව්‍ය ජාවාරම්කරුවෙකු ලෙස සැලකෙන ශිරාන් බාසික් මෙරටට පැමිණීම සම්බන්ධයෙන් පොලිසිය සිදුකරන ප්‍රකාශ අසත්‍ය බවත්, ඔහු මෙරටට පැමිණ ඇත්තේ තමන්ගේම වියදමින් ලබාගත් ගුවන් ටිකට් පතකින් බවත් සිවිල් බුද්ධි පෙරමුණේ කැඳවුම්කරු සංජය මහවත්ත මහතා පවසයි.

මාධ්‍ය හමුවකට එක්වෙමින් ඒ මහතා අවධාරණය කළේ ශිරාන් බාසික් මෙරටට ගෙන්වා ගැනීමට පොලිසිය හෝ බුද්ධි අංශ විශේෂ මැදිහත්වීමක් සිදුකර නොමැති බවයි.

මෙම අත්අඩංගුවට ගැනීම පිටුපස යම්කිසි නාට්‍යමය ස්වභාවයක් පවතින බවට මහවත්ත මහතා සැක පළ කරයි.

මාධ්‍ය මගින් ඔහු ප්‍රබල මත්ද්‍රව්‍ය ජාවාරම්කරුවෙකු ලෙස හැඳින්වුවද, මෙරට අධිකරණයක ඔහුට එරෙහිව ගොනු කර ඇති නිශ්චිත චෝදනා හෝ අධිචෝදනා පත්‍ර පිළිබඳව මෙතෙක් පැහැදිලි අනාවරණයක් සිදුව නොමැති බව ඔහු පෙන්වා දෙයි.

මෙහිදී බරපතල චෝදනාවක් එල්ල කරමින් සංජය මහවත්ත මහතා කියා සිටියේ, හිටපු පොලිස්පතිවරයෙකු විසින් ඉල්ලා සිටි රුපියල් කෝටි 25ක කප්පම් මුදලක් ලබා නොදීම හේතුවෙන් ශිරාන් බාසික්ට මෙම ඉරණම අත්ව ඇති බවට තොරතුරු පවතින බවයි.

 පොලිසිය සහ අපරාධකරුවන් අතර පවතින මෙවැනි ගනුදෙනු පිළිබඳව විධිමත් පරීක්ෂණයක් පැවැත්විය යුතු බව ඔහු අවධාරණය කළේය.

පොලිස් නිලධාරියෙකු සහ පාතාල සාමාජිකයෙකු අතර සිදුවූ බව කියන හඬපටයක් පිළිබඳව ද අදහස් දැක්වූ මහවත්ත මහතා, එම හඬපටය මාධ්‍ය සතුව පැවතියද අපරාධ පරීක්ෂණ දෙපාර්තමේන්තුව එය විමර්ශනය කිරීමට අපහසු බව පැවසීම හාස්‍යයට කරුණක් බව සඳහන් කළේය.

"ඔහු ජාත්‍යන්තර මත්ද්‍රව්‍ය ජාලයක සාමාජිකයෙක් නම් හෝ ත්‍රස්තවාදයට සම්බන්ධ නම්, ඒ පිළිබඳව විධිමත් පරීක්ෂණ පවත්වා රටට සත්‍ය හෙළි කරන්න. එසේ නොමැතිව පෞද්ගලික අවශ්‍යතා මත මෙවැනි දේ සිදුකිරීම බරපතල තත්ත්වයක්," යැයි ද ඔහු වැඩිදුරටත් පැවසීය.

Claims of Falsified Arrest of Suspected Drug Trafficker Surface

Sanjaya Mahawaththa, the spokesperson for the Civil Intelligence Alliance, has refuted police statements regarding the arrival of Shiran Basik, alleged to be an international drug trafficker, labeling them as false. He emphasized that Basik arrived in the country on a ticket purchased with his own funds.

Speaking at a media briefing, Mahawaththa pointed out that there was no intervention from the police or intelligence agencies in bringing Shiran Basik into the country.

He expressed concerns over the potential theatrical nature of this arrest, suggesting that there could be deeper issues at play.

Although the media has referred to Basik as a significant drug trafficker, Mahawaththa noted the lack of clear allegations or indictments against him in the local courts.

Raising serious allegations, Mahawaththa asserted that information suggests Basik's predicament stems from a failure to pay a bribe of 25 million rupees requested by a former police chief.

He insisted that a thorough investigation into such dealings between police officials and criminals is essential.

Commenting on a purported audio recording involving a police officer and an underground member, Mahawaththa stated it was ironic that while the media possesses the recording, the Crimes Investigation Department claims it is unable to investigate it.

"If he is a member of an international drug network or has ties to terrorism, a detailed investigation should be conducted to reveal the truth. Otherwise, undertaking such actions based on personal interests constitutes a grave situation," he further elaborated.
