 2026 පොදුරාජ්‍ය මණ්ඩලීය ක්‍රීඩා උළෙලේදී හෙල්ල විසිකිරීමේ ඉසව්වෙන් රන් පදක්කම දිනාගත් ශ්‍රී ලංකාවේ රුමේෂ් තරංග, ජාත්‍යන්තර මලල ක්‍රීඩා ක්ෂේත්‍රයේ නවතම ලෝක ශ්‍රේණිගත කිරීම්වල ප්‍රථම ස්ථානයට  පත්වෙමින් ඓතිහාසික වාර්තාවක් පිහිටුවා ඇත.
