ආසියානු ක්‍රීඩා උළෙලේ පිරිමි ක්‍රිකට් තරගාවලිය සඳහා සහභාගී වන ශ්‍රී ලංකා විස්සයි20 සංචිතය ශ්‍රී ලංකා ක්‍රිකට් ආයතනය විසින් ප්‍රකාශයට පත් කර ඇති අතර, වසර පහක පමණ ඇවෑමෙන් කඩුලු රකින පිතිකරු නිරෝෂන් දික්වැල්ල යළිත් ජාතික විස්සයි20 සංචිතයට කැඳවීමට පියවර ගෙන තිබේ.

දික්වැල්ලට අමතරව, වසර තුනක කාලයකට පසුව අෂේන් බණ්ඩාරද යළි කණ්ඩායමට එක්ව ඇත.

නම් කරන ලද මෙම කණ්ඩායමේ නායකත්වය තුන් ඉරියව් ක්‍රීඩක සහන් ආරච්චිගේ වෙත පවරා ඇති අතර සොහාන් ද ලිවේරා, සිනෙත් ජයවර්ධන, වනුජ සහන් සහ ගරුක සංකේත් යන නවක ක්‍රීඩකයින් සිව්දෙනා පළමු වරට ජාතික විස්සයි20 සංචිතය සඳහා කැඳවීම් ලබා තිබීම කැපී පෙනේ.

මෙවර තරගාවලියේදී ශ්‍රී ලංකා කණ්ඩායම සෘජුවම අර්ධ අවසන් පූර්ව වටයට සුදුසුකම් ලබා ඇති අතර, ඔවුන් තරග වදින පළමු තරගය සැප්තැම්බර් මස 29 වනදා නිසින් හිදී පැවැත්වීමට නියමිතය.

Sri Lanka Announces Squad for Men's Cricket at Asian Games

The Sri Lanka Cricket Board has officially announced the squad for the men's cricket tournament at the Asian Games, featuring the return of seasoned wicketkeeper Niroshan Dickwella after a five-year hiatus from the T20 national setup.

Joining Dickwella, Ashen Bandara has also made a comeback to the team after a three-year absence, strengthening the lineup with valuable experience.

The leadership of this newly named squad has been entrusted to the talented Sahan Arachchige. Notably, four debutants—Sohan de Livera, Sineth Jayawardena, Vanuj Sahan, and Garuk Sanketh—are set to make their first appearances for the national T20 team, showcasing Sri Lanka's commitment to nurturing fresh talent.

For this tournament, Sri Lanka has qualified directly for the semi-finals, marking a significant stride in their campaign. The team is scheduled to play its opening match on September 29 in Hangzhou, China.
