වටවල පොලිස් වසමට අයත් බින්ඔය වතුයායේ තේ ගසක් මැද තිබූ බඹර කූඩුවක් ඇවිස්සී තමන්ට පහර දුන් බවයි ප්රහාරයෙන් තුවාල ලබා වටවල ප්රාදේශීය රෝහලේ නේවාසිකව ප්රතිකාර ලබන වතු කම්කරුවන් කියා සිටියේ.
බඹර ප්රහාරය සම්බන්ධයෙන් වටවල පොලිසිය පරික්ෂණ පවත්වයි.

Tea Pluckers Injured in Hornet Attack at Bingoya Estate
A group of tea pluckers was injured during a hornet attack while they were working at the Bingoya estate in Vattawela. Five workers were admitted to the Vattawela regional hospital following the incident.
The injured pluckers reported that they had been attacked by a swarm of hornets that emerged from a nest located near a tea tree. They are currently receiving treatment for their injuries at the hospital.
The Vattawela police have initiated an investigation into the hornet attack, aiming to prevent future incidents and ensure the safety of the workers in the area.
