මාතෘභූමියේ ආත්ම ගෞරවයේ ජන සටන ඇරඹුවා..- මහින්දගෙන් නිවේදනයක්..

ඊයේ දිනයේ අනුරාධපුරයේදී පැවති ශ‍්‍රී ලංකා පොදුජන පෙරමුණු ජන රැළියෙන් පසු එම පක්‍ෂ නායක හිටපු ජනාධිපති මහින්ද රාජපක්‍ෂ මහතා තම සමාජ ජාල ගිණුමේ මෙම සටහන පල කර ඇත.

ජය ශ්‍රී මහා බෝධි හාමුදුරුවෝ වැඩ සිටින, ස්වර්ණමාලි මහා සෑය දරා සිටින මහා පින් බිමක් වන ඓතිහාසික අනුරාධපුරයෙන් ඊයේ (12) දින අපි ආරම්භ කරනු ලැබුවේ අප මාතෘභූමියේ ආත්ම ගෞරවයේ ජන සටනයි. අපට ශක්තියක් වූ ඔබ සැමට ආචාර කරමි. මගේ ජනතාවට ස්තුතියි. 

අනුරාධපුර රාජධානියේ කතාව අපට සිහිපත් කරන්නේ මහා ශිෂ්ටාචාරයක කතාවයි. ආක්‍රමණ, ප්‍රතිරෝධ, පාවාදීම් මෙන්ම බිඳවැටීම් තුළින් යළි නැගී සිටීමේ කතාවයි. එම අතීත කතාව වර්තමානයට ද අදාළ යැයි මට සිතේ. මේ රටේ සෑම පුරවැසියෙකුට ම තමන් උපන් බිම පිළිබඳ ආදරයක් තිබිය යුතු ය. අපේකම යන හැඟීම තිබිය යුතු ය. රටක් ලෙස ගත්විට රටක බාහිර හතුරාට වඩා ඇතුළත ඉන්න හතුරා භයානක බව මාගේ විශ්වාසයයි. තමන්ගේ රට පුද්ගලික වාසියට පාවා දෙන්නා භයානකයි. පාවාදීම සාධාරණීකරණය කරමින් අසත්‍ය සමාජගත කරන්නා අතිශය භයානකයි. 

ඔබ සැමගේ සහයෝගයෙන් සහ ශක්තියෙන් මම අපගේ මව්බිම සුරක්ෂිත කර ගොඩනැගුවෙමි. අපේ ජනතාව සතුටින් ආරක්ෂිතව ජීවත්වන යුගයක් නැවත ගොඩනැඟීම ශ්‍රී ලංකා පොදු ජන පෙරමුණේ අරමුණ බව ප්‍රකාශ කරමි. අතීතයේ මෙන් අපගේ සංස්කෘතිය, අනන්‍යතාවය සහ දේශීයත්වය රැක ගනිමින් සංවර්ධිත දේශයක් ගොඩනැගීමට ඔබ සැමට ආරාධනා කරමි.

මෙම කටයුතු මැනවින් සංවිධානය කළ සැමට මාගේ ප්‍රණාමය පුද කරමි. වැඩමවා වදාළ මහා සංඝරත්නයට සහ අන්‍යාගමිනක පූජක උතුමන්ට නමස්කාර පූර්වකව ස්තුති වන්ත වෙමි. පැරණි දේශපාලන සගයන්ට සහ නව බලාපොරොත්තු රැගෙන පැමිණි නවක දේශපාලන තරුණ පිරිසට මම හෘදයාංගම ස්තුතිය ප්‍රකාශ කරමි. විශේෂයෙන්ම අනුරාධපුර නගරට පැමිණි අප හිතවත්, මාතෘ භූමියට ආදරය කරන ඔබ සැමට ස්තුති වන්ත වෙමි. පවතින අධික උණුසුම් කාලගුණික තත්ත්වයක් තුළ වුවත්,  පීඩාවන් ඉවසමින් ඔබ සැම එහි රැඳී සිටි අයුරු මම දුටුවෙමි. ඔබ සැම බොහෝ අපහසු අවස්ථාවන් රැසක් දරා ගත් බව දනිමි.  රජරට ජනතාවට ස්තුතියි. සැමදා අපට ශක්තියක් වූ ශ්‍රි ලාංකික ඔබ සැමට ස්තුතියි. දුෂ්කරම අවස්ථාවන්හිදී පවා ඔබ ලබා දෙන ජනාදරයට ස්තුතියි.

Mahinda Rajapaksa Unveils Vision for Sri Lanka at Anuradhapura Rally

After addressing a rally held by the Sri Lanka Podujana Peramuna in Anuradhapura yesterday, former President Mahinda Rajapaksa took to social media to share his reflections on the event and the path ahead for the nation.

Commencing from the historical city of Anuradhapura, known for its sacred Sri Maha Bodhi and the resplendent Swarnamalie Maha Seeya, Rajapaksa emphasized that the rally marked the beginning of a people’s movement rooted in the pride of their motherland. “I extend my heartfelt gratitude to all of you who have been our strength. Thank you to my citizens,” he expressed.

He noted that the narrative of Anuradhapura serves as a reminder of resilience, illustrating stories of invasions, resistance, betrayals, and recoveries. Rajapaksa articulated that these historical lessons remain relevant today, asserting that every citizen should harbor a love for their birthplace and possess a sense of ownership towards it. “I believe internal adversaries are more dangerous than external ones. It is perilous to surrender one’s own country for personal gain. The act of justifying betrayal by fabricating social narratives is exceedingly dangerous,” he stated.

He reaffirmed his commitment to safeguarding the motherland with the support and strength of the people. “It is the goal of the Sri Lanka Podujana Peramuna to rebuild an era where our citizens live happily and safely. I invite you all to join in developing a nation that preserves our culture, identity, and local values, just as in the past,” Rajapaksa proclaimed.

Expressing gratitude to those who organized the event with precision, he paid homage to the esteemed clergy and leaders present, both seasoned political allies and the new youth with fresh aspirations. Rajapaksa particularly thanked the citizens of Anuradhapura for their unwavering presence, even amidst the current sweltering weather conditions. “I recognize that you have faced numerous adversities. Thank you to the people of Rajarata. Always, your strength has been our strength. I appreciate the support you extend even in the toughest times,” he concluded.

Wishing everyone a prosperous future, he signed off with a rallying call: “Victory.”
