 කොළඹ රිමාන්ඩ් බන්ධනාගාරයේ රඳවා සිටින පාර්ලිමේන්තු මන්ත්‍රී නාමල් රාජපක්ෂ මහතාගේ ආරක්ෂාව තහවුරු කිරීම සඳහා විධිමත් වැඩපිළිවෙළක් සකස් කර ඇති බව බන්ධනාගාර දෙපාර්තමේන්තුව පවසයි.

බන්ධනාගාර මාධ්‍ය ප්‍රකාශක, බන්ධනාගාර කොමසාරිස් සේනක පල්ලේතැන්න මහතා සඳහන් කළේ, මන්ත්‍රීවරයාගේ ආරක්ෂාව වෙනුවෙන් වෙනම බන්ධනාගාර නිලධාරීන් කණ්ඩායමක් යොදවා ඇති බවයි.

නාමල් රාජපක්ෂ මහතා බන්ධනාගාරය තුළ තවත් රැඳවියන් කිහිපදෙනෙකු සමඟ රඳවා සිටින බව ද ඔහු වැඩිදුරටත් අනාවරණය කළේය.

මේ අතර, රක්ෂිත බන්ධනාගාරගතව සිටින නාමල් රාජපක්ෂ මහතාගේ සුවදුක් විමසීම සඳහා ඔහුගේ පියා වන හිටපු ජනාධිපති මහින්ද රාජපක්ෂ මහතා ඇතුළු දේශපාලනඥයන් කිහිපදෙනෙකු බන්ධනාගාරය වෙත පැමිණි බව ද කොමසාරිස්වරයා සඳහන් කළේය.

Security Measures in Place for MP Namal Rajapaksa at Colombo Remand Prison

The Department of Prisons has confirmed the implementation of comprehensive security protocols to ensure the safety of Parliamentarian Namal Rajapaksa, currently held at the Colombo Remand Prison.

Prisons Media Spokesperson and Commissioner General of Prisons, Sena Palletawela, revealed that a specialized team of prison officers has been assigned to oversee the minister's protection.

It was further disclosed that Rajapaksa is being held alongside several other inmates within the prison facility.

In addition, notable political figures, including former President Mahinda Rajapaksa, have visited the prison to inquire about Namal Rajapaksa’s well-being and health status.
