කළුතර නගරයට පිවිසීම සඳහා දැනට දක්ෂිණ අධිවේගී මාර්ගයේ දොඩංගොඩ පිවිසුම භාවිත කරන අතර, බෝම්බුවල නව පිවිසුම විවෘත වීමත් සමඟ කළුතර නගරයට මෙන්ම නාගොඩ ශික්ෂණ රෝහලට ද ඉතා පහසුවෙන් සහ කඩිනමින් ළඟා වීමේ අවස්ථාව උදාවන බව අමාත්‍යවරයා පෙන්වා දුන්නේය.

මීට සමගාමීව කළුතර, පලාතොට සහ නාගොඩ හරහා බෝම්බුවල දක්වා ගමන් කළ හැකි වන පරිදි කළුතර - පලාතොට මාර්ගය ද පුළුල් කර සංවර්ධනය කිරීමට පියවර ගන්නා බව අමාත්‍යවරයා මෙහිදී වැඩිදුරටත් සඳහන් කළේය.

මෙම නව ව්‍යාපෘතිය හරහා කළුතර දිස්ත්‍රික්කයේ ප්‍රවාහන පද්ධතියේ සැලකිය යුතු දියුණුවක් අපේක්ෂා කරන බව ද හෙතෙම පැවසීය.

New Access Road to Southern Expressway to be Constructed from Bombuwala Area

Minister of Health and Media, Dr. Nalinda Jayatissa, announced the swift commencement of construction for a new access road from the Bombuwala area to the Southern Expressway. This revelation came during the minister's attendance at the foundation stone laying ceremony for the Kalutara Health and Wellness Center.

Currently, access to the city of Kalutara is primarily through the Dodangoda entrance of the Southern Expressway. The opening of the new Bombuwala access will enhance accessibility not only to Kalutara but also facilitate quicker travel to the Nagoda Teaching Hospital, as highlighted by the minister.

Additionally, plans are underway to widen and develop the Kalutara-Palatota road, enabling convenient travel from Kalutara through Palatota to Bombuwala. The minister emphasized that this project is expected to significantly improve the transportation system in the Kalutara District.
