ජනතා මතය දැනගැනීමට රැලි පැවැත්විය යුතු නැති බවත් පාර්ලිමේන්තුවේ සේවකයන් 1500 අතර සමීක්ෂණයක් පැවැත්වූයේ නම් රටේ ජන මතය දැනගත හැකි බවත් ඔහු පෙන්වා දෙයි.

එහෙයින් රැලිවලට මොන ගැරඬියා රැගෙන ආවත් පලක් නොමැති බවත් ජන ජීවිතය නඟා සිටුවීමට දිගුකාලීන මාධ්‍ය කාලීන සහ කෙටිකාලීන වැඩපිළිවෙළක් අවශ්‍ය බවත් දිලිත් ජයවීර මහතා පෙන්වා දෙයි.

MP Dilith Jayawera Slams Government for Ineffective Public Gatherings

Member of Parliament and leader of the Samajika Jana Balawegaya, Dilith Jayawera, criticized the government's approach, asserting that holding public rallies will not yield any benefits for the citizens while failing to enhance the country's dollar income.

He emphasized that there is no need for rallies to gauge public sentiment, indicating that conducting a survey among 1,500 parliamentary staff could provide a clearer understanding of the people's views.

Jayawera further noted that regardless of the numbers at these rallies, they ultimately have little impact. He stressed the necessity for a long-term media strategy and immediate plans to uplift the lives of citizens.

The MP highlighted the government's current practices of spending the country's limited dollar reserves to organize these public gatherings, while the populace continues to struggle under severe economic hardships.

Jayawera made these remarks while addressing the Parliament, calling for more effective measures to support the nation's citizens during challenging times.
