සැකකරු විසින් කොළඹ ගල්කිස්ස ප්රදේශයෙන් එක් වරකදී 10g ක හෂිස් ප්රමාණයක් රුපියල් 12000 කට ආසන්න මුදලකට රැගෙනවිත් එයින් කුඩා පැකට් 80ක් පමණ සකස් කර එක් පැකට්ටුවක් රුපියල් 1000 කට අලෙවි කර ඇති බවත්, ඔහු සහ ඔහුගේ පෙම්වතිය විසින් පවත්වාගෙන යන ආපනශාලාවෙහි ඒවා භාවිතයට අවස්ථාව ලබා දී තිබෙන බව ප්රශ්න කිරීමේදී අනාවරණය වූ බව නාවලපිටිය පොලිසිය පවසයි.
සැකකරු විසින් මෙවර විකිණීමට ගෙන ආ මත්ද්රව්ය වලින් විකුණා ඉතිරිව තිබූ 2g ප්රමාණයක් අත්අඩංගුවට ගත් බවත්, රැඳවුම් නියෝග ලබා ගෙන වැඩිදුර විමර්ශන සිදු කරන බවත්, වැඩ බලන ස්ථානාධිපතිවරයා ප්රකාශ කියා සිටියහ.
එසේම මෙම ආපනශාලාව ආසන්නයේ විශාල වශයෙන් පාසල් දරුවන් සහභාගී වන උපකාරක පංති පිහිටා ඇති අතර, එම බාල වයස්කාර දරුවන් ඉලක්ක කර මෙය පවත්වාගෙන ගොස් ඇති බව අනාවරණය වී ඇත.

Police Nab Suspected Drug Dealer Operating from Naalapitiya Restaurant
A 23-year-old man has been arrested in Naalapitiya for allegedly selling hashish from a restaurant he operated near the local post office. The arrest followed a police operation based on credible information regarding the illicit activities taking place within the establishment.
Officials from the Naalapitiya Police revealed that the suspect had been transporting around 10 grams of hashish from the Galciss area of Colombo, where he prepared approximately 80 small packets for distribution. Each packet was reportedly sold for around 1,000 rupees.
During interrogation, it was discovered that the restaurant, co-owned with his girlfriend, was not only a front for drug sales but also provided customers with opportunities to consume the drugs on-site. Moreover, police recovered an additional 2 grams of hashish that were left unsold during the operation.
The restaurant is situated in a location frequented by schoolchildren attending tutoring classes, leading authorities to suspect that the establishment was targeting a vulnerable demographic.
