රක්ෂිත බන්ධනාගාරගත කර සිටින පාර්ලිමේන්තු මන්ත්‍රී නාමල් රාජපක්ෂ මහතාගේ පෞද්ගලික ලේකම්වරයකු වන සංජීව (සංජේ) සමරසිංහ මහතාගේ නිවසේ තිබී සොයාගත් ආරක්ෂිත සේප්පුවක් අල්ලස් හෝ දූෂණ චෝදනා විමර්ශන කොමිෂන් සභාවේ නිලධාරීන් භාරයට ගෙන තිබේ.

ගල්කිස්ස ප්‍රදේශයේ පිහිටි ඒ මහතාගේ නිවස කේන්ද්‍ර කරගනිමින් මෙම හදිසි සෝදිසි මෙහෙයුම ක්‍රියාත්මක කර ඇත්තේ අල්ලස් හෝ දූෂණ චෝදනා විමර්ශන කොමිෂන් සභාව, පොලීසිය සහ පොලිස් විශේෂ කාර්ය බලකාය (STF) ඒකාබද්ධවය.

ඊයේ (16) රාත්‍රී 10.30ට පමණ ආරම්භ වූ මෙම විශේෂ පරීක්ෂාව අද (17) අලුයම 4.30 පමණ වන තෙක් පැය හයකට අධික කාලයක් පුරා නොකඩවා සිදු කර ඇති බව වාර්තා වේ. එහිදී මුළු නිවසම දැඩි පරීක්ෂාවට ලක් කළ විමර්ශන නිලධාරීන්, එම නිවසේ තිබූ අදාළ සේප්පුව විමර්ශන භාරයට ගෙන ඇති අතර ඊට සමගාමීව නිවැසියන්ගෙන් දීර්ඝ ලෙස ප්‍රකාශ සටහන් කරගැනීමට ද පියවර ගෙන තිබේ.

ක්‍රිෂ් සමාගමේ ව්‍යාපෘතියකට අදාළව රුපියල් මිලියන 70ක මුදලක් සම්බන්ධයෙන් එල්ල වූ අල්ලස් සහ මූල්‍ය අක්‍රමිකතා චෝදනා මත කොළඹ ප්‍රධාන මහේස්ත්‍රාත් අධිකරණයේ නියෝගයකට අනුව පාර්ලිමේන්තු මන්ත්‍රී නාමල් රාජපක්ෂ මහතා මේ වන විටත් රක්ෂිත බන්ධනාගාරගතව පසුවේ. 

නාමල් රාජපක්ෂ මහතාගේ පෞද්ගලික ලේකම්වරයා ලෙස කටයුතු කරන සංජීව සමරසිංහ මහතාගේ නිවස මෙලෙස මධ්‍යම රාත්‍රියේ සෝදිසියට ලක්ව ඇත්තේ එම විමර්ශන මාලාවේ තවත් එක් පියවරක් වශයෙනි.

Security Sweep at Home of Namal Rajapaksa's Secretary Amid Corruption Probe

In a significant move, investigators from the Commission to Investigate Allegations of Bribery or Corruption have seized a security seal during a raid at the residence of Sanjeewa (Sanje) Samarasinghe, the personal secretary of detained Parliamentarian Namal Rajapaksa.

This surprise operation took place at Samarasinghe's home located in the Kalutara district, with collaboration from the bribery commission, police, and the Special Task Force (STF). The raid began around 10:30 PM last night (October 16) and reportedly continued uninterrupted until approximately 4:30 AM today (October 17).

During the extensive six-hour search, investigators thoroughly examined the premises and took possession of the relevant seal. They also collected detailed witness statements from those present at the residence.

The allegations of corruption and financial misconduct stem from a project related to the Krista Company, involving a sum of Rs. 70 million. Based on a court order from the Colombo Chief Magistrate’s Court, Namal Rajapaksa remains in custody as investigations proceed.

The nocturnal search of Sanjeewa Samarasinghe’s residence marks yet another step in the ongoing investigation surrounding the Rajapaksa family. Manoj Gamage, the media spokesperson for former President Mahinda Rajapaksa, confirmed that the residence was subjected to scrutiny for several hours last night.
