ජාතික පද්ධතියේ ඇති වූ හදිසි අසමතුලිතතාවක් සමඟ මුළු දිවයිනේම විදුලි සැපයුම එකවර ඇණහිටි බව පෙන්වා දුන් ඒ මහතා, ජාතික පද්ධති මෙහෙයුම්කරු ලෙස මේ වන විටත් විදුලිබල මණ්ඩල ඉංජිනේරුවන් පද්ධතිය යළි පණගැන්වීමේ දැඩි ප්‍රයත්නයක නිරතව සිටින බව පැවසීය.
ඒ අනුව දැනටමත් එක් කොටසක විදුලි සැපයුම යථා තත්ත්වයට පත් කිරීමට හැකිවී ඇති අතර, ඉදිරි පැය කිහිපය තුළ දිවයින පුරා සෙසු ප්‍රදේශවලට ද අදියරෙන් අදියර ඉතා ඉක්මනින් විදුලිය ලබා දීමට හැකිවනු ඇතැයි අමාත්‍යවරයා විශ්වාසය පළ කළේය.
මෙම හදිසි පද්ධති බිඳවැටීමට නිශ්චිත හේතුව මෙතෙක් ස්ථිර වශයෙන්ම අනාවරණය වී නොමැති බව පැවසූ අමාත්‍යවරයා, ඉහළ කොත්මලේ ජලවිදුලි බලාගාරයේ එක් ජනන යන්ත්‍රයක හටගත් දෝෂයක් හේතුවෙන් පද්ධතියේ හටගත් අසමතුලිතතාවක් මීට බලපෑවේද, නැතහොත් වෙනත් බාහිර කාර්මික දෝෂයක් හේතුවෙන් පද්ධතිය අක්‍රිය වූයේද යන්න පිළිබඳව සොයා බලමින් සිටින බව සඳහන් කළේය.
කෙසේ වෙතත් මේ මොහොතේ මූලික අවධානය යොමු කර ඇත්තේ රට පුරා විදුලි සැපයුම කඩිනමින් යථා තත්ත්වයට පත් කිරීමට බව හෙතෙම අවධාරණය කළේය.
පද්ධතිය යථා තත්ත්වයට පත් කිරීමේ තාක්ෂණික ක්‍රියාවලිය සාර්ථක කරගැනීම සඳහා විශේෂයෙන්ම වහල මත සූර්ය පැනල භාවිත කරන සියලුම පාරිභෝගිකයින්ගෙන් අමාත්‍යවරයා ඉල්ලා සිටින්නේ, ජාතික පද්ධතිය සම්පූර්ණයෙන්ම ස්ථාවර වන තෙක් සිය සූර්ය පැනල පද්ධති ක්‍රියා විරහිත කර තබන ලෙසයි.
Nationwide Power Supply Restoration Efforts Underway Following Electrical Grid Failure
The recent sudden collapse of Sri Lanka's national electricity grid has prompted immediate efforts to restore power across the entire country. Energy Minister Anura Yapa Karunathilaka has issued an urgent appeal to customers, requesting the temporary disconnection of solar panels installed on rooftops to aid in the recovery of the system.
In a special address, the minister pointed out that the interruption in power supply was a result of an unexpected imbalance within the national system, which occurred simultaneously nationwide. He reassured the public that the engineers from the Ceylon Electricity Board (CEB) are actively working to rectify the situation.
Encouragingly, some areas have already seen their power restored, and the minister expressed confidence that other regions would receive electricity in stages over the next few hours.
The minister also noted that the exact cause of the grid failure has yet to be confirmed. Investigations are ongoing to determine if a malfunction in a generator at the Upper Kotmale Hydro Power Plant contributed to the imbalance or if the outage was triggered by another external technical fault.
Despite the complexity of the situation, the minister emphasized that the primary focus remains on swiftly restoring electricity across the nation. He specifically urged all customers utilizing solar panel systems on their rooftops to disconnect them until the national grid stabilizes completely.
