The confrontation has raised serious concerns about the safety and implications surrounding both individuals.

The audio details a harsh exchange, beginning with the trafficker contacting Kahandagama's daughter and ominously threatening her life. It is revealed that she has failed to pay for 500 grams of 'Ice' (a form of methamphetamine), which her father reportedly procured three months ago, and that similar payments have been missed in the past, leading to the trafficker's demands.

Threatening to shoot Kahandagama if the money remains unpaid, the trafficker also warns of a violent attack on their business premises, intensifying the atmosphere of intimidation.

In response, Kahandagama's demeanor during the recording suggests he remained unshaken, as he requested the trafficker not to involve innocent parties. He asserted that he was not attempting any deceitful financial maneuvers and is actively working on selling property to settle the overdue amount.

He further disclosed that prospective buyers had recently visited the property, indicating his determination to quickly raise funds, even if it meant selling at a lower price. This commitment was reiterated in his conversation with the trafficker, emphasizing his intent to clear the debt.
