බගවන්තලාව ප්‍රදේශයට ඇදහැලෙන අධික වර්ෂාවත් සමග කෙසෙල්ගමුඔය පිටාර ගැලීමෙන් බගවන්තලාව ප්‍රදේශයේ පහත් බිම් රැසක් (26) දින ජලයෙන් යට වී ඇත.
කෙසෙල්ගමුඔයෙ ජලය පිටාර ගැලීම නිසා එම ඔයට බගවන්තලාව කොටියාගල වතුයායේ සිට ජලය ගලා බසිනා වැසි ජලය එම වතුයායේ පහත්බිම්වල පිහිටි නිවාස රැසකට ගලා යෑම හේතුවෙන් වතු නිවාස රැසක් ජලයෙන් යට වී තිබෙන අයුරු අප කැමරාවේ සටහන් විය.
මේ අතර, හැටන් ප්‍රදේශයට (26) දින ඇදහැලුණු අදික වර්ෂාවත් සමග හැටන් බස් නැවතුම්පොළට පැමිණි මගීන් දැඩි ලෙස පීඩාවට පත් වි සිටින අයුරු අප කැමරාවේ සටහන් විය.

Severe Rainfall Causes Flooding in Bagawantalawa and Hatton
Intense rainfall in the Bagawantalawa area has resulted in significant flooding, with many low-lying regions submerged as a consequence of the Keselgamu Oya river overflowing on October 26. The rising waters have inundated several homes, particularly those situated in the plantations adjacent to the river, raising concerns among residents.
The overflow of the Keselgamu Oya has sent water flowing from the Kotiyagala plantation into the nearby settlements. Documentation captured by our reporters shows numerous houses being affected by the rapidly rising floodwaters.
Meanwhile, passengers arriving at the Hatton bus station on the same day found themselves in distress due to the adverse weather conditions, highlighting the challenges faced by commuters during this severe weather event.
