ශිරන්තිට කොළඹ ජාතික රෝහලේදී විවෘත හෘද සැත්කමක්..

 රක්ෂිත බන්ධනාගාරගත කර සිටින ශිරන්ති රාජපක්ෂ මහත්මිය මේ වන විට විවෘත හදවත් සැත්කමකට භාජනය වෙමින් පවතින්නේද යන්න පිළිබඳව සොයා බලා වාර්තාවක් ඉදිරිපත් කරන ලෙස කොළඹ මහේස්ත්‍රාත් අධිකරණය අද (13) බන්ධනාගාර අධිකාරීවරයා වෙත නියෝග කළේය.

'සිරිලිය සවිය' ගිණුම සම්බන්ධයෙන් සිදුකෙරෙන පරීක්ෂණවලට අදාළ නඩුව අද දින කැඳවූ අවස්ථාවේදී, සැකකාරිය වෙනුවෙන් පෙනී සිටි ජනාධිපති නීතිඥ අනිල් සිල්වා මහතා අධිකරණය හමුවේ කරුණු පැහැදිලි කළේය.

එහිදී ඔහු කියා සිටියේ තම සේවාදායිකාව මේ වන විට කොළඹ ජාතික රෝහලේදී විවෘත හදවත් සැත්කමකට මුහුණ දෙමින් සිටින බවත්, එම තත්ත්වය සුවිශේෂී කරුණක් ලෙස සලකා ඇයට ඇප ලබා දෙන ලෙසත්ය.

එම ප්‍රකාශයට විරෝධය පළ කරමින් අල්ලස් කොමිසම නියෝජනය කළ අතිරේක සොලිසිටර් ජනරාල් දිලිප පීරිස් මහතා අධිකරණය හමුවේ සඳහන් කළේ, සැකකාරිය එවැනි සැත්කමකට භාජනය වන බවට පැමිණිල්ල පාර්ශ්වයට කිසිදු තොරතුරක් ලැබී නොමැති බවයි.

දෙපාර්ශ්වයේ කරුණු දැක්වීම් සැලකිල්ලට ගත් මහේස්ත්‍රාත්වරයා, සැකකාරිය සැබවින්ම මෙවැනි සැත්කමකට මුහුණ දෙමින් සිටින්නේද යන්න පිළිබඳව වහාම තහවුරු කර වාර්තා කරන ලෙස බන්ධනාගාර බලධාරීන්ට නියෝග කරමින් නඩුව පස්වරු 2.00 දක්වා කල් තැබීය.

Judicial Inquiry Ordered on Shiranthi Rajapaksa's Health Status

The Colombo Magistrate's Court today directed the prison authorities to investigate and report on Shiranthi Rajapaksa's current health condition, as she is reportedly undergoing open-heart surgery.

This request came during a hearing related to investigations concerning the "Siriliya Saviya" account, where Attorney-at-Law Anil Silva, representing the accused, provided details before the court.

Silva emphasized that his client is currently facing open-heart surgery at the Colombo National Hospital and requested that she be granted bail on these grounds, considering the seriousness of her condition.

Contrarily, Additional Solicitor General Dilip Peiris, representing the Bribery Commission, contested this claim, stating that the prosecution has not received any information confirming that the accused is undergoing such a procedure.

Taking into account the arguments presented by both parties, the presiding magistrate ordered the prison authorities to promptly verify and report on Rajapaksa's medical condition. The case has been adjourned until 2.00 PM to allow for this assessment.
