ජ්‍යෙෂ්ඨ නියෝජ්‍ය පොලිස්පති රන්මල් කොඩිතුවක්කු සහ පොලිස් මත්ද්‍රව්‍ය නාශක කාර්යාංශය භාර නියෝජ්‍ය පොලිස්පති අශෝක ධර්මසේන යන මහත්වරුන් ඇතුළු පොලිස් නිලධාරීන් කිහිපදෙනෙකු වෙත ලබා දී තිබූ ස්ථාන මාරුවීම් වහාම ක්‍රියාත්මක වන පරිදි අවලංගු කිරීමට ජාතික පොලිස් කොමිෂන් සභාව තීරණය කර තිබේ.
පොලිස්පතිවරයා විසින් කරන ලද විශේෂ ඉල්ලීමක් සලකා බැලීමෙන් අනතුරුව, අද (01) රැස්වූ ජාතික පොලිස් කොමිෂන් සභාව මඟින් මෙම පියවර ගෙන ඇත.
මෙසේ අවලංගු කරන ලද ස්ථාන මාරුවීම් අතරට පොලිස් මත්ද්‍රව්‍ය නාශක කාර්යාංශයේ අධ්‍යක්ෂවරයා, පොලිස් අධිකාරීවරුන් දෙදෙනෙකු සහ කාන්තා පොලිස් පරීක්ෂකවරියන් කිහිපදෙනෙකු ද ඇතුළත් බව වාර්තා වේ.
Police Commission Cancels Recent Transfers Amid Special Request
The National Police Commission has decided to immediately revoke a series of transfers involving several police officials, including Senior Deputy Inspector General Ranmal Kodithuwakku and Deputy Inspector General Ashoka Dharmasena of the Police Narcotics Bureau.
This decision was made during a meeting today, following a special request from the Inspector General of Police. The Commission has taken this step to address the recent disruptions within the ranks.
The revoked transfers reportedly involve the Director of the Police Narcotics Bureau, two police officers, and several female police investigators, reflecting the significant impact of this decision on the operational structure of the bureau.
