(09) දින පස්වරු 6:30ට පමණ කදු මුදුනේ සිට පස් මග ගල් කිහිපයක් ප්‍රධාන මාර්ගයට පෙරලුන බවත්, නාය ගිය ස්ථානයෙන් ඉහළින් තවත් විශාල ගල් කිහිපයක් ප්‍රධාන මාර්ගයට පෙරලිමේ අවධානමක් පවතින නිසා එම ස්ථානයෙන් රථවාහන ධාවනයේදි සැලකිලිමත් ලෙස රිය ධාවනය කරවන ලෙස පොලිස් ස්ථානාධීපතිවරයා රියදුරන්ගෙන් ඉල්ලා සිටියි.

Heavy Rain Causes Landslide in Kotmale, Traffic Disruption Reported
Severe rainfall in the Kotmale area on the afternoon of the 9th has triggered a landslide in the Gerandiella region, prompting police to restrict vehicle movement to a single lane on the main Hatton-Gampola road. Inspector Indika Lalith, the officer in charge of Kotmale Police, reported the incident.
At approximately 6:30 PM, several stones from a hillside cascaded onto the main road. Concerns have been raised about additional large rocks still perched precariously above the area that could potentially fall onto the roadway. As a precaution, the police are urging drivers to exercise caution while navigating through this affected section.
