නාමල්ගේ ලේකම්ගේ නිවසට අල්ලසෙන් පනී.. පැය ගාණක් නිවස පීරයි..

 රක්ෂිත බන්ධනාගාරගතව පසුවන පාර්ලිමේන්තු මන්ත්‍රී නාමල් රාජපක්ෂ මහතාගේ පෞද්ගලික ලේකම්වරයා ලෙස කටයුතු කරන සංජේ සමරසිංහ මහතාට අයත් ගල්කිස්ස ප්‍රදේශයේ පිහිටි නිවස, අල්ලස් හෝ දූෂණ චෝදනා විමර්ශන කොමිෂන් සභාව, පොලිසිය සහ පොලිස් විශේෂ කාර්ය බළකාය (STF) එක්ව විශේෂ සෝදිසි මෙහෙයුමකට ලක් කර තිබේ.

හිටපු ජනාධිපති මහින්ද රාජපක්ෂ මහතාගේ මාධ්‍ය ප්‍රකාශක නීතිඥ මනෝජ් ගමගේ මහතා සඳහන් කළේ, ඊයේ (16) රාත්‍රී 10.30 ට පමණ ආරම්භ වූ මෙම මෙහෙයුම අද (17) අලුයම 4.30 පමණ වන තෙක් අඛණ්ඩව පැය හයකට අධික කාලයක් පුරා ක්‍රියාත්මක වූ බවයි. 

එහිදී නිවස සම්පූර්ණයෙන්ම සෝදිසියට ලක් කරමින් සාක්ෂි එක්රැස් කිරීමට මෙන්ම නිවැසියන්ගෙන් ප්‍රකාශ සටහන් කරගැනීමට ද නිලධාරීන් පියවර ගෙන තිබේ.

මෙම හදිසි වැටලීම සහ පරීක්ෂාව සිදුකිරීමට පාදක වූ සැබෑ හේතුව හෝ ඒ සඳහා පවතින නීතිමය පසුබිම සම්බන්ධයෙන් අදාළ විමර්ශන ආයතන විසින් නිල වශයෙන් කිසිදු දැනුම්දීමක් හෝ පැහැදිලි කිරීමක් මෙතෙක් සිදුකර නොමැති බව නීතිඥ මනෝජ් ගමගේ මහතා කියා සිටියේය. 

කෙසේවෙතත්, සිද්ධියට අදාළ වැඩිදුර කරුණු අද දහවල් වන විට මාධ්‍ය වෙත අනාවරණය කිරීමට බලාපොරොත්තු වන බව ද හෙතෙම වැඩිදුරටත් ප්‍රකාශ කළේය.

Authorities Conduct Six-Hour Raid on Home of Namal Rajapaksa's Secretary

A significant operation unfolded early this morning, focusing on a property in the Galewela area associated with Sanjeewa Samarasinghe, the personal secretary of detained parliamentarian Namal Rajapaksa. The investigation was spearheaded collaboratively by the Commission to Investigate Allegations of Bribery or Corruption, local police, and the Special Task Force (STF).

Manoj Gamage, a legal representative for former President Mahinda Rajapaksa, revealed that the operation commenced around 10:30 PM last night and extended for over six hours, concluding around 4:30 AM today.

The authorities meticulously searched the residence, gathering evidence and taking statements from residents. This unexpected raid has raised questions, as official clarification regarding the underlying motives or legal context behind the operation has yet to be provided by the investigating bodies.

However, Gamage indicated that more information about the incident is expected to be disclosed to the media by this afternoon.
