ශිරන්ති සිංගප්පූරුවෙන් ආ ගමන්ම FCID කැදවයි..

හිටපු ජනාධිපති ආර්යා ශිරන්ති රාජපක්ෂ මහත්මියට ලබන ඔක්තෝබර් 13 වැනිදා පොලිස් මූල්‍ය අපරාධ විමර්ශන කොට්ඨාසය හමුවේ පෙනී සිටින ලෙස දැනුම් දී තිබේ.

දැනට ක්‍රියාත්මක විමර්ශනයකට අදාළව ප්‍රකාශයක් සටහන් කරගැනීම සඳහා ඇය වෙත මෙම කැඳවීම සිදුකර ඇති අතර, කෙටි කලක් විදෙස්ගතව සිටි ඇය ඊයේ (05) රාත්‍රියේ සිංගප්පූරුවේ සිට යළි දිවයිනට පැමිණියාය.

‘සිරිලිය සවිය’ අරමුදලට අදාළ බැංකු ගිණුම් හරහා සිදුවූ බව කියන මූල්‍ය අක්‍රමිකතා සහ ගනුදෙනු සම්බන්ධයෙන් ප්‍රකාශයක් ලබාගැනීම සඳහා මූල්‍ය අපරාධ විමර්ශන කොට්ඨාසය මීට පෙර ද ශිරන්ති රාජපක්ෂ මහත්මිය කැඳවා තිබිණි.

කෙසේ වෙතත්, එම දැනුම්දීමෙන් පසු ඇය වෛද්‍ය ප්‍රතිකාර සඳහා විදෙස්ගත වූ අතර, අදාළ ප්‍රකාශය ලබාදීමට වෙනත් දිනයක් ලබාදෙන ලෙස ඇයගේ පාර්ශ්වයෙන් ඉල්ලීමක් කර තිබුණි.

මේ අතර, දිවයිනට පැමිණීමේදී ගුවන්තොටුපොළේදීම තමන්ව අත්අඩංගුවට ගැනීමේ සූදානමක් පවතින බව පවසමින්, ඕනෑම කොන්දේසියක් මත ඇප මුදාහරින ලෙස ඉල්ලා ඇය විසින් මාළිගාකන්ද මහේස්ත්‍රාත් අධිකරණය හමුවේ අපේක්ෂිත ඇප අයැදුම්පතක් ද මෑතකදී ගොනු කරනු ලැබීය.

එවන් පසුබිමක යළි මෙරටට පැමිණි හිටපු ජනාධිපති ආර්යාවට, අදාළ මූල්‍ය විමර්ශනය සඳහා ලබන 13 වැනිදා පෙනී සිටින ලෙස මූල්‍ය අපරාධ විමර්ශන කොට්ඨාසය මෙලෙස නිල වශයෙන් දැනුම් දී ඇත.

Former President Shiranthi Rajapaksa Summoned for Financial Investigations

Former President Shiranthi Rajapaksa has been officially summoned to appear before the Financial Crimes Investigation Division (FCID) on October 13. This notice comes as part of an ongoing investigation into alleged financial irregularities linked to bank accounts associated with the 'Sirilija Saviya' fund.

Recently returning to Sri Lanka from Singapore, where she had been receiving medical treatment, Rajapaksa was called in to provide a statement regarding the investigation. Authorities had previously summoned her to discuss transactions said to have occurred through the contentious bank accounts.

After her earlier summons, Rajapaksa had to travel overseas for health reasons, prompting her representatives to request an alternative date for her to provide the statement.

Upon her return to the country, she expressed concerns about potential arrest at the airport and filed a petition with the Maligakanda Magistrate’s Court, seeking bail under any conditions upon her arrival.

In light of these developments, the FCID has formally notified the former president to make her appearance for the financial investigation on October 13.
