වත්මන් ආණ්ඩුව පිහිටුවා තවමත් ගතව ඇත්තේ කෙටි කාලයක් බවත්, මෙම ළපටි අවධිය පසුකර පස්වසරක ධුර කාලය සම්පූර්ණ වන විට කිසිවෙකුටත් සිතාගත නොහැකි දැවැන්ත වැඩකොටසක් රට වෙනුවෙන් ඉටුකර පෙන්වන බවත් වැවිලි සහ ප්‍රජා යටිතල පහසුකම් අමාත්‍ය සමන්ත විද්‍යාරත්න මහතා අවධාරණය කරයි.
ගෙවතු වගාව රට පුරා ප්‍රචලිත කිරීමේ අරමුණින් දිවයින පුරා පොල් පැළ ලක්ෂ 5ක් නොමිලේ බෙදාදීමේ 'ප්‍රාණ ශක්ති' ජාතික වැඩසටහන ආරම්භ කිරීමේ අවස්ථාවට එක්වෙමින් අමාත්‍යවරයා මේ බව ප්‍රකාශ කළේය.
මෙහිදී වැඩිදුරටත් අදහස් දැක්වූ අමාත්‍ය සමන්ත විද්‍යාරත්න මහතා, හිටපු ජනාධිපති රනිල් වික්‍රමසිංහ මහතාගේ පාලන සමයේ ප්‍රතිපත්ති සමඟ වත්මන් වැඩපිළිවෙළ සැසඳීමට ලක් කළේය.
"අපේ ජනාධිපතිතුමාට කලින් හිටපු රනිල් වික්‍රමසිංහ මහත්තයා රට හදන්න පොරොන්දු වුණේ 2048 වෙනකොටයි. රස්සා දෙනවා, ආර්ථිකය හදනවා, පඩි වැඩි කරනවා කිව්වේ අපි මැරුණටත් පස්සේ එන 2048 දී. එදාට මෙතන ඉන්න බොහෝ දෙනෙක් ජීවතුන් අතරත් නෑ. හැබැයි අපි මේ රට ගොඩනැගීමේ වැඩපිළිවෙළ අද සිටම ආරම්භ කර තිබෙනවා. 2026 වන විට පොහොර සහනාධාරය, මහපොළ ශිෂ්‍යාධාරය, වකුගඩු ආධාර ඉහළ නංවා තිබෙනවා. කෘෂිකර්මාන්තය නංවමින්, අලුත් රැකියා බිහිකරමින්, වැටුප් වැඩි කිරීමට පියවර ගනිමින් සිටිනවා. රට නිවැරදි දිශාවට හැදෙන්න පටන් ගෙන තිබෙන්නේ දැන්," යනුවෙන් ඔහු පැවසීය.
රට නිවැරදි මාවතට අවතීර්ණ වන විට සාමාන්‍ය ජනතාව ඊට ආශිර්වාද කළද, දුෂිතයන් සහ ජාවාරම්කරුවන් දැඩි ලෙස නොසන්සුන් වී ඇති බව අමාත්‍යවරයා මෙහිදී පෙන්වා දුන්නේය.
"ආණ්ඩුව බිහිකර වසර දෙකක් ගතවන විට රටේ සාමාන්‍ය ජනතාව අප වටා විශාල වශයෙන් පෙළගැසී සිටිනවා සේම, අපට එරෙහිව විශාල සතුරු බලවේගයක්ද නිර්මාණය වී තිබෙනවා. ඒ කවුද? අතීතයේ දූෂණ හා වංචා කරපු අය, කොමිස් සහ අල්ලස් ගත්තු අය, කුඩු ජාවාරම්කරුවන්, පාතාල සාමාජිකයන් මෙන්ම හොරට ගස් කපපු, වැලි ගොඩදාපු, ගල් කොරි පවත්වාගෙන ගිය ජාවාරම්කරුවන් අද අපට හතුරු වී සිටිනවා. ඔවුන්ට හොරකම් කිරීමට හෝ ජාවාරම් කිරීමට දැන් ඉඩක් නෑ. විපක්ෂයේ බහුතරයක් නියෝජනය කරන්නේ මේ පිරිසයි. ඔවුන් තමන්ට හිතවත් ඇතැම් මාධ්‍ය සහ සමාජ මාධ්‍ය ඔස්සේ ආණ්ඩුවට එරෙහිව මඩ ප්‍රහාර සහ විරෝධතා රැල්ලක් දියත් කරමින් සිටිනවා," යැයි අමාත්‍යවරයා සඳහන් කළේය.
එවැනි පදනම් විරහිත විරෝධතාවලට සහ ප්‍රචාරයන්ට නොරැවටී දූරදර්ශීව සිතන ලෙස මහජනතාවගෙන් ඉල්ලා සිටි අමාත්‍යවරයා, තම දරුවන්ට සුරක්ෂිත හා පොහොසත් රටක් නිර්මාණය කරදීමේ රජයේ අරමුණ සාක්ෂාත් කරදීමට කැපවන බවද වැඩිදුරටත් කියා සිටියේය.
Minister Samanta Vidyarathna Highlights Government's Development Goals Amidst Challenges
The current government, still in its infancy, is determined to implement significant changes for the country's benefit during its five-year term, as emphasized by Minister of Agriculture and Community Infrastructure Samanta Vidyarathna.
He made these remarks while participating in the launch of the "Prana Shakthi" national program, which aims to distribute five million coconut seedlings free of charge across the nation to promote home gardening.
During the event, Vidyarathna took a moment to compare the government's current policies with those of former President Ranil Wickremesinghe’s administration.
“Our current President has begun initiatives that were promised by Mr. Wickremesinghe which are slated for fruition by 2048—those promises seemed far off, focused on rebuilding the economy, increasing wages, and further development long after many of us would be gone. However, we are laying the groundwork for this country's recovery starting today. By 2026, we anticipate improvements in fertilizer subsidies, education grants, and kidney aid, all while revitalizing agriculture, creating new jobs, and increasing salaries," he stated.
As the country inches back onto the right track, Vidyarathna pointed out that while ordinary citizens are supportive of the government’s plans, corrupt individuals and smugglers are becoming increasingly agitated.
“In just two years, as we build this government, a large section of the populace has rallied around us, yet significant adversarial forces are also emerging against us. Who are these adversaries? They include those who previously engaged in corruption and fraud, who exploited commissions and bribes, as well as drug traffickers and illegal loggers. These individuals are now targeting us. They no longer have the leeway to commit theft or smuggling, and much of the opposition comprises these groups, who are leveraging certain friendly media and social networks to launch smear campaigns and protests against our government,” he noted.
Vidyarathna urged the public to remain undeterred by baseless protests and propaganda, reaffirming the government’s commitment to creating a safe and prosperous country for future generations.
