Education Ministry Empowers Students to Combat Dengue Threat

The Ministry of Education has issued directives to school principals allowing students to wear suitable attire that covers arms and legs in addition to their standard school uniforms. This initiative aims to enhance protection against dengue fever, a growing health concern in schools.

A special media release from the Ministry of Education, Higher Education, and Technical Education highlighted that these measures were implemented in response to the existing dengue threat in the country.

Furthermore, school principals have been urged to ensure that students are informed about the proper use of mosquito repellents, which are essential in the fight against the spread of dengue.

The announcement also emphasized that this decision is part of a broader effort to strengthen dengue control initiatives within the school environment.
