 හෝමාගම කර්මාන්ත පුරයේ පිහිටි හෙල්මට් නිෂ්පාදනය කරන කර්මාන්ත ශාලාවක හටගත් දරුණු ගින්න නිසා පුද්ගලයන් පස් දෙනෙකු ජීවිතක්ෂයට පත්ව තිබේ.

අද අලුයම හදිසියේ හටගත් මෙම ගින්න කර්මාන්ත ශාලාව පුරා සීඝ්‍රයෙන් පැතිර ගොස් ඇති අතර, එය මැඩපැවැත්වීම සඳහා දැඩි පරිශ්‍රමයක් දැරීමට සිදු විය.

ගින්න නිවීම සඳහා කොළඹ, ශ්‍රී ජයවර්ධනපුර කෝට්ටේ සහ දෙහිවල - ගල්කිස්ස යන මහ නගර සභාවලට අයත් ගිනි නිවීමේ රථ 12ක් එම ස්ථානයට කැඳවා තිබුණි.

ගින්නෙන් සිදුවූ දේපළ හානිය මෙතෙක් තක්සේරු කර නොමැති අතර, ගින්න හටගැනීමට හේතුව ද මෙතෙක් අනාවරණය වී නොමැත.

Tragic Fire Claims Five Lives at Helmet Manufacturing Facility in Homagama

A devastating fire at a helmet manufacturing factory in the Homagama Industrial Zone has led to the tragic loss of five lives. The blaze erupted suddenly this morning and quickly spread throughout the facility, requiring significant efforts to bring it under control.

Emergency services responded with urgency, dispatching 12 fire engines from Colombo, Sri Jayawardenepura Kotte, and Dehiwala-Galkissa to combat the flames.

As of now, the extent of the property damage is yet to be assessed, and the cause of the fire remains undisclosed. The Homagama Police, along with relevant authorities, are conducting further investigations into the incident.
