 කම්කරු අමාත්‍ය සහ මුදල් හා සැලසුම් නියෝජ්‍ය අමාත්‍ය ආචාර්ය අනිල් ජයන්ත ප්‍රනාන්දු මහතා විසින් දඹදිව සහ තායිලන්ත වන්දනා ගමන් තහනම් කිරීමට යෝජනා කර ඇති බවට සමාජ මාධ්‍ය ඔස්සේ පැතිර යන තොරතුරු සම්පූර්ණයෙන්ම අසත්‍ය සහ පදනම් විරහිත බව කම්කරු අමාත්‍යාංශය නිවේදනය කරයි.

අමාත්‍යවරයා කිසිදු අවස්ථාවක එවැනි ප්‍රකාශයක් සිදු කර නොමැති බවත්, මහජනතාව නොමඟ යැවීම සඳහා මෙවැනි අසත්‍ය තොරතුරු නිර්මාණය කර ඇති බවත් එහි සඳහන් වේ.

ශ්‍රී ලංකාවේ පවතින සමාජීය, දේශපාලනික සහ ආගමික සහජීවනය පළුදු කිරීමේ අරමුණින්, පටු දේශපාලන න්‍යාය පත්‍ර ක්‍රියාත්මක කරන කණ්ඩායම් විසින් මෙම අසත්‍ය ප්‍රචාර පතුරුවා හරින බවට අමාත්‍යාංශය චෝදනා කරයි.

මහජනතාව නොමඟ යැවීම සඳහා සිදු කරන මෙවැනි පහත් පෙළේ අසත්‍ය ප්‍රචාර දැඩි ලෙස හෙළා දකින බවත්, එවැනි ක්‍රියාවන් සම්බන්ධයෙන් සිය දැඩි කණගාටුව පළ කරන බවත් කම්කරු අමාත්‍යාංශය නිකුත් කළ නිවේදනයේ වැඩිදුරටත් දැක්වේ.

Labour Ministry Debunks False Claims about Travel Restrictions

The Labour Ministry has categorically rejected rumors circulating on social media regarding Minister and Deputy Minister of Finance and Planning, Dr. Anil Jayathissa Pranandha, suggesting a ban on pilgrimage travel to Delhi and Thailand.

In a special statement, the Ministry emphasized that these claims are completely unfounded and fabricated. It clarified that the minister has never made such statements at any time.

The announcement further points out that the spread of such disinformation is intended to mislead the public, accusing certain political groups of promoting false narratives to disrupt social, political, and religious harmony within Sri Lanka.

It condemned these deceptive propaganda efforts aimed at confusing the populace and expressed its serious concern over such actions, highlighting the need for responsible communication.
