රාජ්‍ය ඉංජිනේරු සංස්ථාවට අයත් වාහන අවභාවිත කළ බවට එල්ල වී ඇති චෝදනාවක් සම්බන්ධයෙන් සිදුකරන විමර්ශනවලට අදාළව මෙම අත්අඩංගුවට ගැනීම සිදුකර ඇති බව පොලිසිය පවසයි.

සිද්ධිය සම්බන්ධයෙන් පොලිස් මූල්‍ය අපරාධ විමර්ශන කොට්ඨාසය වැඩිදුර විමර්ශන මෙහෙයවයි.

Brother of Former MP Wimal Weerawansa Arrested by Police Financial Crimes Unit

Sarath Weerawansa, the brother of former Parliament member Wimal Weerawansa, has been apprehended by the Police Financial Crimes Investigation Division.

The arrest stems from allegations of misuse of vehicles belonging to the State Engineering Corporation. Investigations are currently underway regarding this matter, according to police sources.

The Police Financial Crimes Investigation Division is leading further inquiries into the incident.
