 ශ්‍රී ලංකා ක්‍රිකට් ආයතනයේ පරිපාලන කටයුතු ප්‍රජාතන්ත්‍රවාදී මුහුණුවරකින් ස්ථාපිත කිරීම සඳහා වහාම නිලවරණයක් පවත්වන ලෙස ජාත්‍යන්තර ක්‍රිකට් කවුන්සිලය ශ්‍රී ලංකා ක්‍රිකට් බලධාරීන්ට දැනුම් දී තිබේ.

ස්කොට්ලන්තයේ එඩින්බරෝ නුවරදී පැවති ජාත්‍යන්තර ක්‍රිකට් කවුන්සිලයේ වාර්ෂික සම්මේලනයේදී මෙම තීරණය ගෙන ඇති අතර, ඒ පිළිබඳ නිල නිවේදනය මේ වන විට ශ්‍රී ලංකා ක්‍රිකට් ආයතනය වෙත යොමු කර ඇත.

එම නිවේදනය මගින් ICCය අවධාරණය කර ඇත්තේ, නිසි පරිදි නිලවරණයක් පවත්වා නව පාලක මණ්ඩලයක් පත් කර ගන්නා තෙක් ජාත්‍යන්තර ක්‍රිකට් කවුන්සිලයේ කිසිදු අධ්‍යක්ෂ මණ්ඩල රැස්වීමක් සඳහා සහභාගී වීමට ශ්‍රී ලංකා ක්‍රිකට් ආයතනයේ නියෝජිතයන්ට අවසර නොලැබෙන බවයි.

මෙය ශ්‍රී ලංකාව ජාත්‍යන්තර ක්‍රිකට් තීරණ ගැනීමේ ක්‍රියාවලියෙන් තාවකාලිකව ඉවත් කිරීමක් බඳු ක්‍රියාමාර්ගයකි.

ICC Orders Immediate Elections for Sri Lanka Cricket Leadership

The International Cricket Council (ICC) has directed Sri Lanka Cricket officials to conduct immediate elections to establish a democratically governed administration. This decision was announced during the ICC's annual conference held in Edinburgh, Scotland, and an official notice has already been dispatched to Sri Lanka Cricket.

The ICC's notice emphasized that until a proper election is conducted and a new governing body is installed, representatives from Sri Lanka Cricket will not be permitted to participate in any board meetings organized by the ICC.

This directive effectively removes Sri Lanka from active participation in international cricket decision-making processes for the time being, marking a significant shift in the nation’s cricket governance.
