සංස්ථාවේ සාමාන්යාධිකාරී, මූල්ය කළමනාකරු සහ මානව සම්පත් කළමනාකරු යන තිදෙනාම පසුගිය ජනවාරි මාසයේ සිට වැඩ තහනමකට ලක් කර ඇති බවත්, ඒ වෙනුවට අමාත්යාංශයෙන් පත් කළ නිලධාරියෙකුට රුපියල් 45,000ක අතිරේක දීමනාවක් ගෙවමින් පරිපාලන කටයුතු සිදු කරන බවත් ඔහු පැවසීය.
එසේම, දේශපාලන රැකවරණ පතා එංගලන්තයට ගොස් සිටින නිමාලි නැමැති කාන්තාවක විසින් මෙහෙයවන "දැක්ම" නැමැති WhatsApp සමූහයක් හරහා සංස්ථාවේ කටයුතු මෙහෙයවන බවත්, ඇය වෙනුවෙන් පසුගිය දෙසැම්බර් මාසයේදී රුපියල් ලක්ෂ 28ක මුදලක් ගෙවා ඇති බවත් පාදුක්ක මහතා වැඩිදුරටත් සඳහන් කළේය.
ධීවර වරාය නීතිගත සංස්ථාව මේ වන විට රුපියල් මිලියන 450ක පාඩුවක් ලබමින් පවතින ආයතනයක් බවත්, සේවක වැටුප් පවා රජයෙන් ලබා දෙන තත්ත්වයක් තුළ මෙවැනි මූල්ය අක්රමිකතා සහ දේශපාලන අතපෙවීම් සිදුවීම කණගාටුදායක බවත් ඔහු පෙන්වා දුන්නේය.

Political Allegations Arise Over State Fishing Port Authority's Operations
The Sri Lanka Fishing Port Authority is currently facing serious allegations, with claims that it has become a hub for political activities of the Janatha Vimukthi Peramuna (JVP), as stated by Nishan Padukka, the organizational secretary of the Samagi Jana Balawegaya in Kasbava.
Speaking at a press conference in Colombo, Padukka revealed that, under the guidance of the authority's chairman, Kapila Bamunaarachchi, political programs dubbed "Five Classes" are being conducted within the authority's premises every Wednesday and Thursday.
According to his statements, these sessions attract between 30 to 40 participants and utilize government property and resources without authorization. To substantiate his claims, Padukka presented several photographs from a mobile phone as evidence during the media briefing.
He also noted that the authority’s general manager, finance manager, and human resources manager have been on leave since January, with administrative tasks now handled by an official appointed from the ministry, who receives an additional allowance of 45,000 rupees.
Furthermore, Padukka highlighted that activities are being coordinated through a WhatsApp group called "Vision," managed by a woman named Nimaly, who is reportedly in England seeking political asylum. He claimed that a payment of 2.8 million rupees was made on her behalf last December.
The Fishing Port Authority currently faces a staggering loss of 450 million rupees, which raises concerns over such financial irregularities and the infiltration of political influences, particularly as employee salaries are reliant on government funding. He expressed disappointment over these revelations and underscored the need for immediate investigations into the corrupt practices surrounding the authority.
Padukka affirmed that there would be formal inquiries into this corrupt process in the near future.
