අපිව එළවන්න හදන්නේ ඇයි.. අපි කොච්චර වැඩ කරනවද බලන්න..- TB

 වත්මන් රජය කෙටි කාලයක් තුළ ජනතාව වෙනුවෙන් විශාල වැඩකොටසක් ඉටුකර ඇති පසුබිමක, රජය බලයෙන් පහ කිරීමට ඇතැම් පිරිස් උත්සාහ කරන්නේ මන්දැයි නිවාස, ඉදිකිරීම් සහ ජල සම්පාදන නියෝජ්‍ය අමාත්‍ය ටී.බී. සරත් මහතා ප්‍රශ්න කරයි. පොළොන්නරුව ප්‍රදේශයේ පැවති ජන හමුවක් අමතමින් ඒ මහතා මේ බව කියා සිටියේය.

මෙහිදී අදහස් දැක්වූ නියෝජ්‍ය අමාත්‍යවරයා,  "උඩ ඉන්න කට්ටිය දඟලන්නේ ඇයි කියලා දන්නවද? අර කකුළුවා දියකෙළි ගහන්නේ සෙන්ටිග්‍රේඩ් අංශක 100ට වතුර රත් වෙනකම් විතරයි. දැන් ඒ වගේ තත්ත්වයක් තමයි තියෙන්නේ. හැමෝගෙම වැරදි දැන් අහුවෙලා තියෙන්නේ" යැයි  පැවසීය.

ගොවීන් පාරට බැස රජයට එරෙහිව විරෝධය පෑම අනවශ්‍ය බව පෙන්වා දුන් ඒ මහතා, රජය ගොවීන්ගේ ප්‍රශ්න පිළිබඳව මැනවින් දැනුවත් බව සඳහන් කළේය.

"අපි දන්නවා අද වී කිලෝව රුපියල් 95ට, 100ට යන එක අසාධාරණයි කියලා. ඒක 120ක් වෙන්න ඕනේ. හැබැයි රජය වී මිලදී ගත්තත් ඒවා කොටන්න රජයට මෝල් නැහැ. ඉතින් අපි එකපාරටම මෝල් මවන්නද?" යනුවෙන් ඔහු ප්‍රශ්න කළේය.

රටේ පවතින ප්‍රශ්න විසඳා රට ගොඩනැගීම සඳහා ජනතාව රජයට ලබාදුන් වසර පහක කාලය ඉවසීමෙන් බලා සිටින ලෙස ඔහු ඉල්ලා සිටියේය. "අපි ඔබලා වෙනුවෙන් වැඩ කරනවා. අපිට කාලය දෙන්න. අපි මේ රට හදනවා" යැයි ද ඔහු අවධාරණය කළේය.

තමන් කිසිසේත්ම ධනපති පන්තිය නියෝජනය කරන්නෙකු නොවන බවත්, තමන් සාමාන්‍ය ජනතාව අතරින් පැමිණි අයෙකු බවත් ටී.බී. සරත් මහතා මෙහිදී සිහිපත් කළේය.

"ටී.බී. සරත් ගෙදර යන්නේ මේ පන්තියේ මිනිහෙක් පාර්ලිමේන්තුවට යවලා මිසක්, ධනපති පන්තියේ මිනිහෙක් පාර්ලිමේන්තුවට යවලා නෙවෙයි" යනුවෙන් ඔහු වැඩිදුරටත් ප්‍රකාශ කළේය.

රජය පෙරළීමට උත්සාහ කරන පිරිස්වල සැබෑ අරමුණ ජනතා සේවය නොව, තමන්ගේ වරප්‍රසාද රැක ගැනීම බව ද නියෝජ්‍ය අමාත්‍යවරයා මෙහිදී චෝදනා කළේය.

Minister T.B. Sarath Questions Motives Behind Attempts to Undermine Government

In the backdrop of the current government achieving significant accomplishments for the people in a short period, Minister of Housing, Construction, and Water Supply T.B. Sarath questions why certain groups are trying to undermine the government. He made these remarks while addressing a public meeting in the Polonnaruwa area.

The Deputy Minister expressed, "Do you know why those at the top are flailing? It's because that little frog is only croaking when the water reaches 100 degrees centigrade. That’s the current situation. Everyone’s mistakes have been revealed now."

He indicated that farmers protesting against the government is unnecessary, noting that the government is well aware of the farmers' issues.

"We know it's unfair that rice is being sold for 95 to 100 rupees per kilo. It should be 120. But even if the government buys the rice, there’s no money to distribute it. So should we raise the money all at once?" he questioned.

He urged the people to exercise patience for the five years they have given the government to resolve the nation's problems and build the country. "We are working for you. Give us time. We are building this country," he emphasized.

Minister T.B. Sarath reminded that he is not a representative of the wealthy class, but rather someone who comes from the common people.

"T.B. Sarath is not sending someone from this class to Parliament, but rather someone from the common people's class," he further stated.

The Deputy Minister accused the groups attempting to overthrow the government of not having the well-being of the people at heart, but instead seeking to preserve their privileges.
