 ජාතික ජන බලවේගය ඉදිරියේදී මැතිවරණ නොපවත්වා වසර 25ක කාලයක් බලයේ රැඳී සිටීමේ සැලසුමක නිරත වන බව සමගි ජන බලවේගයේ පාර්ලිමේන්තු මන්ත්‍රී අජිත් පී. පෙරේරා මහතා චෝදනා කරයි.

මාධ්‍ය වෙත අදහස් දක්වමින් මන්ත්‍රීවරයා කියා සිටියේ ජවිපෙ ගම් මට්ටමේ පවත්වන රැස්වීම්වලදී ඉදිරියේදී මැතිවරණ නොපවත්වන බවත්, ඕනෑම ක්‍රමයකින් වසර 25ක් බලයේ රැඳී සිටින බවත් පවසන බවට තොරතුරු ලැබී ඇති බවයි.

මෙම ක්‍රියාවන් ප්‍රජාතන්ත්‍රවාදයට සහ ආණ්ඩුක්‍රම ව්‍යවස්ථාවට සම්පූර්ණයෙන්ම පටහැනි බව ඔහු අවධාරණය කළේය.

රජයේ දූෂණ සහ වංචා පිළිබඳව අදහස් දක්වමින් මන්ත්‍රීවරයා පෙන්වා දුන්නේ ගල්අඟුරු වංචාව, බහාලුම් වංචා සහ ඩොලර් මිලියන ගණනක මූල්‍ය අක්‍රමිකතා හේතුවෙන් රජය කෙරෙහි ජනතා අප්‍රසාදය දැඩි වී ඇති බවයි.

එමෙන්ම අධිකරණයේ ස්වාධීනත්වයට රජය සෘජුවම ඇඟිලි ගසමින් සිටින බවත්, විනිසුරුවරුන්ගේ විශ්‍රාම යන වයස සංශෝධනය කිරීමට දරන උත්සාහය වත්මන් අග්‍රවිනිශ්චයකාරවරයාට සේවා දිගුවක් ලබාදීමේ පටු අරමුණින් සිදු කරන්නක් බවත් ඔහු චෝදනා කළේය.

අනුරාධපුර දිස්ත්‍රික්කයේ ගොවීන් මුහුණ දෙන ගැටලු පිළිබඳව ද මෙහිදී අදහස් පළ විය.

වී කිලෝවකට රුපියල් 120ක සහතික මිලක් ලබාදෙන බවට පොරොන්දු වුවද, දැනට ගොවීන්ට ලැබෙන්නේ රුපියල් 90ක පමණ මුදලක් බවත්, මේ හේතුවෙන් ගොවි ජනතාව දැඩි අසීරුතාවට පත්ව ඇති බවත් මන්ත්‍රීවරයා පැවසීය.

රජයට සැබෑ ජනවරමක් ඇත්නම් වහාම ජනමත විචාරණයකට හෝ මැතිවරණයකට යා යුතු බවට අජිත් පී. පෙරේරා මහතා මෙහිදී අභියෝග කළේය.

ශ්‍රී ලංකා නීතිඥ සංගමය ඇතුළු වෘත්තීයවේදීන් ද රජයේ මෙම අත්තනෝමතික ක්‍රියාවන්ට එරෙහිව පෙළගැසී සිටින බව ඔහු වැඩිදුරටත් සඳහන් කළේය.

Allegations of Political Manipulation by JVP Until 2048 Arise

Ajith P. Perera, a member of parliament representing the Samagi Jana Balawegaya, has accused the Janatha Vimukthi Peramuna (JVP) of planning to maintain power without elections for a staggering 25 years. He raised these concerns during a media briefing, revealing information about the JVP’s intentions to not hold elections at the grassroots level in the foreseeable future.

The MP emphasized that such actions are a direct affront to democracy and the constitutional order of the country. He painted a grim picture of the current political landscape, suggesting that the JVP is determined to cling to power by any means possible.

In referencing the government's rampant corruption and fraud, Perera pointed to various scandals, including issues surrounding the coal trade, corruption in public works, and significant financial irregularities amounting to millions of dollars. These incidents have led to widespread public discontent towards the government, he noted.

He also accused the current administration of directly undermining the independence of the judiciary, alleging that recent attempts to amend retirement ages for judges are part of a concealed effort to extend the service of the current Chief Justice.

Addressing difficulties faced by farmers in the Anuradhapura District, Perera shed light on the plight of agricultural workers. Although the government had promised a guaranteed price of 120 rupees per kilo for paddy, farmers are reportedly receiving only around 90 rupees, leaving them in severe distress.

He challenged the government to promptly hold a public referendum or an election if it genuinely believes it has the people's mandate. Furthermore, he indicated that professionals, including members of the Sri Lanka Bar Association, are actively opposing these autocratic measures imposed by the government.
