අවිධිමත් ලෙස විදේශ ගමන් බලපත්ර ලබාගැනීමෙන් ආගමන හා විගමන පනත උල්ලංඝනය කළ බවට වරදකරු වී සිරදඬුවම් නියම වී සිටින ශෂී වීරවංශ මහත්මිය, පෙර ඇප මත මුදා හැරීමට කොළඹ ප්රධාන මහේස්ත්රාත් අධිකරණය අද නියෝග කළේය.
එම අවස්ථාවේදී විත්තිකාර ශෂී වීරවංශ මහත්මිය අධිකරණය හමුවේ පෙනී සිටි අතර, කරුණු සලකා බැලූ මහේස්ත්රාත්වරයා ඇයව පෙර ඇප මත මුදා හැරීමට නියම කළේය.
අදාළ නඩුව නැවත සැප්තැම්බර් මස 27 වනදා කැඳවීමට ද අධිකරණය මෙහිදී දින නියම කර තිබේ.
ශෂී වීරවංශ මහත්මියට එරෙහිව මෙම නඩුව පවරා තිබුණේ ව්යාජ තොරතුරු ඉදිරිපත් කර අවිධිමත් ලෙස විදේශ ගමන් බලපත්ර ලබාගැනීම තුළින් ආගමන හා විගමන පනත යටතේ වරදක් සිදුකළ බවට චෝදනා කරමිනි.
Court Grants Bail to Shashi Weerawansa Amid Charges of Passport Fraud
Shashi Weerawansa, who has been imprisoned for allegedly violating immigration laws by obtaining passports in an irregular manner, has been granted bail by the Colombo Chief Magistrate's Court today.
During the proceedings, Weerawansa appeared before the court, where the magistrate, after considering the circumstances, decided to release her on bail.
The court has scheduled the next hearing of the case for September 27th.
Weerawansa faces charges of fraudulently providing false information to secure passports, which is a violation under the Immigration and Emigration Act.
