පොහොට්ටු පිරිසක් සර්වජනේට එක්වේ...

 නාවලපිටිය ආසනයෙන් ශ්‍රී ලංකා පොදු ජන පෙරමුණේ හිටපු සංවිධායක කේ.එල්.ඒ. ගණසිංහ ඇතුළු කොට්ඨාශ නියෝජිතයින් පිරිසක් සර්වජන බලයේ ජාතික සංවිධායක දිලුම් අමුණුගම සමග හමුවක් නාවලපිටිය පෞද්ගලික උත්සව ශාලාවකදී (09) දින සර්ව ජන බලයට එක් විය.

සාකච්ඡාවෙන් (09) දින සිට සර්ව ජන බලය ක්‍රියාකාරී දේශපාලනයට මෙම පිරිස එකතු වනබව නිල වශයෙන් ප්‍රකාශ කරන ලදි.

මෙම පිරිස එක් විමෙන් අනතුරුව මාධ්‍යට අදහස් දක්වමින් දිලුම් අමුණුගම මහතා කියා සිටියේ, බන්ධනාගාරවල ඇතිවන ගැටුම් වලට විපක්ෂය සෘජුව මැදිහත් වෙනවා යයි චෝදනා කරන්නේ නම් ඒ සඳහා රජයක් අවශ්‍ය නොවන බවත්, මහා නායක ස්වාමීන් වහන්සේලාගේ විරෝධය විනිසුරුවරුන්ගේ කාලය දීර්ඝ කිරීමේ ගැසට් පත්‍රයේ නිකුත් කිරීම වත්මන් රජයේ ඒකාධිපතිවාදය හොඳින් නිරූපණය වන අවස්ථාවක් බවයි.

එසේම සියලු පක්ෂ මේ වන විට ඉහළ ඡන්ද දායකයන් මට්ටමක් ලබා සිට අඩු චන්ද මට්ටමක් දක්වා පහළ බැස සිටියත් සර්ව ජන බලය පක්ෂයේ පමණක් බින්දුවේ සිට පටන්ගෙන මේ වනවිට ඉතා හොඳ ඡන්ද පදනමක් ගොඩනගා ගෙන ඇති බවයි දිලුම් අමුණුගම මහතා වැඩි දුරටත් ප්‍රකාශ කර සිටියහ.

Former SLPP Organizer Joins the National People’s Power Movement

In a significant political development, K.E. Ganeshinha, the former organizer of the Sri Lanka People's Front, has officially joined the National People's Power movement. The announcement was made during a meeting held in Nawalpitiya, attended by several representatives from the party.

This gathering took place on the 9th of August in a private event hall, where the attendees voiced their support for the National People's Power's active engagement in politics beginning from the same date. The consolidation of this group into the movement illustrates a strategic realignment in the Sri Lankan political landscape.

Later addressing the media, Dilum Amunugama, a prominent figure in the National People's Power, remarked on the current political climate, emphasizing that if the opposition directly intervenes in conflicts arising within prisons, it should not require a government to address such issues. He expressed concerns about the government's portrayal of unity and the release of gazette notifications that extend the tenure of certain officeholders, a move he suggested illustrates the central government’s autocratic tendencies.

Amunugama further noted the changing landscape of political allegiance, indicating that while various parties have experienced fluctuations in voter support, the National People's Power remains steadfast in establishing a solid voter base, successfully gaining traction amidst the shifting dynamics of political support in Sri Lanka.
